Humpty’s Diner

I LOVE THIS PLACE.
It has they normal food a diner would serve, burger, fries, lumber jack breakfast all that stuff. but what is truely amazing about this place is that it has the retro look of a 50’s/60’s diner many booths have little juke boxes that are a $ 1 for 3 songs or $ 2 for 7 with some great selection: The Doors, Beach Boys, Elvis, Buddy Holly. It does have some 70’s and 80’s singers too. It really is a nice place.
The staff is friendly and willing to serve you in a fast, make small talk way.
BUT THE BEST AND I MEAN BEST PART ABOUT THIS PLACE IS…
when you get your food thats it. you get your food, they don’t come back 20 bloody times asking how is everything… reason why I am so anti that is that if my food was bad… trust me i would let THEM know in a second without making a scene. But if i got a mouth full of bloody toast or fruit and servers walk up and ask… well now i’m pissed.
I was in a family STYLE restaurant a few months back and i ordered a cranberry juice with a wedge of lemon which is what i always drink. i start to sip it and the server comes over and asks if everything is ok! ITS A BLOODY DRINK! IN A «FAMILY RESTAURANT» where my meal may come to $ 15 max… not the bloody IVY in Los Angeles!!! come on…
But this place is awesome… go there and enjoy!
