I was introduced to this coffee shop as I work in the building located beside it. Ever since then I have been going there on a regular basis and I love it. Not only is the food/drinks very well prepared and tasty, but the wonderful people who own and run the place are some of the greatest people you’ll have the pleasure of meeting. As I am gluten intolerant, whenever I walk through the doors for lunch and stand in the long line for the lunch rush(Many people who work in this building flock here for a delicious healthy convient lunch) I am greeted with a smile and they advise me immediately of what I am able to eat. The food(Breakfast and lunch) is great as well as the baking treats, the best cupcakes and decorated cakes I have seen! Definitely recommended to check out.

Commercial type lunch spot meets coffee shop anyone? That’s what happens at Gabz. Did you skip breakfast? Are you looking for a spot for lunch? Or perhaps you’d like some sweets to bring back to the office. They’ve got you covered. I stopped in for a cup of coffee and being that it was BBW(Breakfast Bagel Wednesday-something I made up at a previous job and have kept up whenever I remember to eat a breakfast bagel on a Wednesday), I thought I’d sample it here. The bagel was alright, egg, ham and cheese. But nothing special. It should’ve been toasted. Toasted makes any bagel taste better! The staff is friendly and trusting at Gabz. My bagel was brought out to me as soon as it was ready instead of me waiting for it by the counter and the trend seemed to be to settle your bill after you’d had your coffee and eaten your food. It’s not what I’ve come to expect in a coffee shop after living downtown, but all in all, Gabz is a handy little spot for a bite to eat or a quick cup of coffee.
