Speed Clean Coin Laundry

This little location has been around for many, many years. It’s popular with the locals in the nearby apartment buildings and you’ll find evenings and weekends, it’s packed.
As of Aug 2011, they are Open 7 days a week, from 9:15am to 7pm. (But call and check, sometimes they change the hours depending on the time of year.
They have 2 mega washers, 8 medium sized washers and wall of dryers.
They have drop off service as well (seems popular), detergent and softner costs are standard and the service is ok… some of the emploees don’t speak english very well.
There’s no tv or wifi or bathroom… bring a book and be prepared to stand, no real seating either. Interior, like a lot of laundry mats, could use a paint job.
They do have contracts with local businesses, so a few times I’ve gone in, most of the machines have been taken up. I find that it I go first thing in the morning, I can get a lot done quickly in less than 1.5hr.
Why would I recommend it? When I need to do a big load for pillows and comforters, it’s pretty quick, somewhat clean with better prices than the other laundry places within a 10 minute drive.
