Pizza Hut

There are days in which I do not want to venture out to eat. Good thing there is an option called delivery!
Ordered two medium pizza and food arrived exactly 30 minutes later as estimated online. I ordered a meat lover and Hawaiian on two different crusts to compare.
Good comfort food. It still tastes the same as I remembered it. The pan crust was better than the hand tossed style crust. The pan crust was buttery and chewy. I found the hand tossed style crust to be a tad stiff for my liking. The pizza toppings were alright.

Once in a while I indulge with comfort food. Pizza hut is one of my favorites. I usually order online for pickup. But today I decided to come to the store straight from work and order from there. Parking is no problem. When I got inside, the person at the counter did not greet me, did not look at me, nor acknowledged me. There was either a delivery going on and I understand it was a bad time. I waited. Another staff was visible… Nothing. I took the menu… nothing. Until I purposely looked at one of them. He said he will be right with me. That didn’t happen. Another staff went to the counter, no apologies, no «welcome to pizza hut how can I help you». I initiated the conversation. I asked what the difference between one menu from the other. He didn’t try to explain well. The phone rang. He was looking at the phone while trying to explain to me. At this point I just had it. I ordered a large pepperoni and nothing else. Store was empty, the place stank like a place was never disinfected, like an old, cheap hotel restaurant that no one goes to. The carpet was filthy! I don’t know how people can dine here.

A paltry display of topping. Seriously I just paid $ 1.50 to have half a silver wedge of green dispersed over 8 slices of pizza. I was hoping this was a problem isolated at the last Pizza Hut I ate at in pitt meadows but no. It’s a universal problem that is dragging down this chain. Anemic effort Pizza Hut. So long.

I have had Pizza Hut lunch buffets in various locations and in several different provinces. This Pizza Hut has provided the best Pizza Hut experience I have had.
I must admit, this is a dated location but it is clean and the food is plentiful. The staff are very pleasant and attentive. We try and go as an office group every few weeks and I am always pleased with the value… $ 6.99 per person. We go and have a very enjoyable lunch for a very low price. Morale is boosted and we have some laughs. Awesome!

This smallish place has booth seating and a small stand for their Monday to Friday 11.30 am to 1.30 pm lunch All You Can Eat. Not on holidays. And only $ 6.99! This kind of cheap is practically a public service!
The pizza isn’t superb on the lunch buffet. But it’s a buffet. And it’s cheap. You get what you pay for, and for a $ 6.99 AYCE it is very hard to be shortchanged. Judged by value for money (or by pounds of pizza per penny), this place is decent.

I hate this pizza hut.
The problem is I love pizza.
The standard pizza hut pizza is pretty good.
But when you have a staff of under 20’s and people from other lands that have no passion for the trade or any care to actually put in an effort, you get a failing Pizza Joint.
Besides the incorrect orders, poor assembling, surly attitude, and general nincompoopery I could see my self ordering from here again.
But not for a ha wile.
Also it takes them far too long to deliver to my house. I AM 400 meters away. Over an hour!!! No F’n way.
I have my finger on the pulse of the industry.
I am not being difficult. Simple orders, non-​game nights, no excuses.
Cheesey jems in the crust. Hotdogs? Who are you joking. Anyone ever get a stuffed crust pizza and the cheese inside still melty. Hell no its half full of white milk flavored rubber.
Just make a dam pizza.
Oh and their breadstix that were once the benchmark can now be used to make a bench. They suck too.
Wings hella bunk.
They have a lunch buffet, but i wouldn’t go. That is saying a lot.
