This is my go to place for Phở in the neighbourhood. Call ahead is fast but sit down is nice too. Good fresh ingredients and friendly service keep me returning.

Great soup, awesome spring rolls! Their vermicelli dishes are good as well. I had a sub one day with a friend. Mine was really good, but on his the meat was really fatty. It looked gross. I come here a lot! One of my favourite places to have soup and spring rolls.

Have never eaten in the restaurant. We have ordered take out 5 times. I’m a fan of their phở beef broth. I eat a lot of phở and appreciate their quality on that. We’ve had their chicken phở, beef phở, vermicelli dishes, and sandwiches. Not a fan of their sandwiches. Their portions are smaller compared to others. And their prices are more expensive as well. When making a decision for takeout, they wouldn’t be my first choice because of the pricing to value ratio, but I’m still a repeat customer once in awhile.

I say this is one of the worst phở I’ve ever had in Vancouver. The quality of the noodle wasn’t good, and the Phở I ordered was full of noodle with only a few beef.

There is not much competition in the area for food choices. This restaurant is located on a stretch of Hastings that is mainly residential. There are a couple schools nearby. Food quality is average. The presentation is nice. Food portion was decent. I was fully satiated sharing the food with my friend. The prices are a bit higher than most phở restaurants. The service was minimal. My glass of water was empty way before a server offered to refill. The staff had some visitors they were busy chatting away with. We were not in a hurry so we waited patiently to get their attention to pay the bill. They try to make the ambiance modern with the black and red theme, but the worn down chairs and faded food photos on the tables shows the age of the restaurant. There is plenty of street and residential area parking. Also, they do accept credit cards which is a plus.

I ate there just today for lunch after a work-related visit to New Westminster. I heard about this place through a neighbor’s daughter and drove past it a few times on my trips to the Kensington area. Typical Vancouver Phở places have a no-frills look(no fancy décor, takeout menus printed on plain paper, tables and chairs need not be fancy as long as it is functional). The place goes the extra mile into details such as the red and black colour scheme(walls, tables, seating), takeout menus printed on dark shiny paper, dark stone-tiled floors(that detail wow’ed me) and artistically shaped«rounded cubic» bowls! I ordered the grilled chicken on vermecelli noodles. The food was very good; I enjoyed my dish as my mother enjoyed her phở. Service is very friendly and efficient as well, so this place is GREAT. It closes at a relatively early hour of 8 pm; they should consider closing later on weekends.

Neighbourhood phở place in Burnaby. Very good phở with noodles done perfectly. The bun dishes are good too. Good place for quick bite.

Just based on the iced coffee, pretty average. Not your typical phở place, as lighting’s a bit dim, or maybe it’s their dark décor, and chairs lol, good they accept all cards. Clean washroom though. limited free street parking, as you’re fighting w/the Sushi Town’s customers next door.

Dropped by here for takeout. Excellent service. Pretty good food if you’re already in the area. Not the best viet food I’ve had though. Ordered the vermicelli with grilled chicken, spring rolls and salad. Spring rolls were kind of underwhelming. Will definitely return to try their phở.

My favorite spot to eat in Vancouver! Food’s great and they have friendly, quick service. I normally get the lemon grass chicken over bun with spring roll combo. Can’t go wrong with that!

One of the very few Vietnamese places in Burnaby and since they have little competition their food is sub-par compared to anywhere in Vancouver. The phở bo isn’t very good, the flavors in the broth are off and the soup base is so clouded(which is bad), it’s supposed to be clear!!! Maybe they use phở mix and not simmer the bones and beef. Spring rolls are meh, there is so little meat! Also not served with all the veggies to wrap and the fish sauce is bland. Not authentic at all. Other dishes are equally as bad, this place caters for the younger crowd from the surrounding schools since it’s accessible, but in terms of good Vietnamese food this is NOT the place to go. Service is ok, the restaurant is small, nothing special.

I can’t say that I’ve ever had a bad meal here. The prices are reasonable, the service is friendly, fast and the food’s always arrived at our table piping hot. We also do take out from here and we’ve always received cutlery and extra sauces. Items I order on a regular basis include: Banh Mi Thit sandwich(Vietnamese ham, Vietnamese bacon and pâté); Phở Dac Biet(house special phở, with all the fixings!); Bun Dac Biet(vermicelli with grilled pork, spring roll, pork patty and sugarcane shrimp); minced pork and shrimp spring rolls. My only complaint is that I wish they didn’t close so early at 8pm!

Phở Soup is bland, pretty much tasteless. Beef is too chewy. Ordered the spring roll which is so-so definitely not coming back given that there are tons of better phở places.

Great restaurant if you are looking for a place to eat in North burnaby. Phở is always good anytime! Service is amazing. Food is well displayed and prices are very reasonable. They have filet mignon phở and NOMSG in their dishes! A must try if you are in the area.

Visit this place if you’re in town. Nice modern look. Good customer service. Funny story: it’s a small place so conversations are easily heard by everyone. Not a good idea to have loud and immature toilet talk with guy friends when others in the restaurant are trying to slurp up their rice noodles from their hot and steamy brown broth. haha.
