Netherworld Collectibles

Great collectible stores are really hard to come by and Netherworld is a great addition to the Burnaby Heights Community! This Collectible store is themed around everything horror; from Tv series such as the walking dead, to old horror slasher films, all the way into H.P. Lovecraft board games, this place has it. I’m going to admit now that the store isn’t that big and the quantity of products they have could be bigger, but with friendly staff there helping you order anything you want, they really don’t need a lot of goods. As I walked in I really enjoyed the atmosphere of walking into a themed collectible store and knowing that I can really nerd out here if I needed to look for something specific. It doesn’t feel like those Gothic themed stores that would drive most normal people away, but it presents to you all the interesting toys and trinkets you’ll sometimes find in those places.
If you’re looking for toys, comics, posters, or any type of horror themed products, come check this place out! Look for the Dracula standing outside the door to great you!

I am so glad that this place is finally listed as I’ve been wanting to write a review for this place for over a year now. I was reminded of this place as someone else’s review showed up on the front page of Unilocal.I was first introduced to these guys when they had a booth at Fan Expo. I then stumbled upon this shop after my hair appointment a few months back. The store front is very small and at the time I went their selection was far and few between, nothing specific that grabbed my attention which was disappointing. A few rare items, however, nothing that made my jaw drop. The guy working there was super friendly and helpful none the less and was the best customer service experience. The prices are very decent for what they are. This place specializes in special FX make-​up and less on the collectable side.

I came here to buy a Halloween mask and found a really scary one for ten bucks! Thi place is great if you are into horror movies and zombie or vampire themed items. Lot of collectibles, posters, figurines and fake blood available. They also do special FX make up here so if you need to look scary for say… the local Zombie walk or a Halloween party this is the place to get it done. I remember that they did a special FX make up shop during the local Hats Off Day Merchant parade and the summer time. The shop keeper was nice and personable and has set up the store very nicely with a lot of goodies. Definitely worth a visit if you are in this part of Burnaby just to see something different.
