Simply Yummy Bakery

This sweet lil’ bakery has the BEST gingerbread in the world. Everytime I walk by I can’t resist-​and either can my 3 year-​old who asks for the gingerbread whenever passby. It’s a must try.

I’ve been purchasing many goodies from this store! Everything here is amazing, I would even call it dangerous. I had their muffins, cookies, cakes, pie, you name it! I never disliked a pastry at this bakery. I have recently ordered my birthday cake which was a strawberry shortcake, everyone at my party wanted seconds. It’s a perfect mix since it wasn’t to sweet and had the right amount of strawberries. I would recommend this bakery to anyone looking for something simply yummy!

Christmas Time… My Friend shares the Reindeer with me, but she was such a Scrooge she only gave me the Antlers which wasn’t enough to get the real taste. SCROOGE finally gave me ½ of the Reindeer Shortcake Cookie after I complained. After all I was the one who asked to purchase it. :P
Tiny cute Bakery near the intersection of Wellington & Yonge in Aurora, the young Lady greeted us behind the counter while I got a whiff of some Banana Bread stepping inside. The setup reminiscent of Chinese Bakeries while Muffins & Cookies are self-​serve while Cakes are inside the Display Counter.
Some items such as Muffins and Banana Breads are ½ the size but considering it’s ½ the price (compared to Toronto), it definitely makes it easy to choose more variety of Goodies rather than just one. The Cookies are quite good while the Banana Muffin and Banana Bread I’m so-​so maybe due to my preference.
It’s too bad that Simply Yummy doesn’t have any seating room or else I can see it as a nice Afternoon Tea or Coffee spot. It’s definitely a nice place to stop-​by and support local entrepreneur/​business rather than the standard boring franchise Bakery or Café.

«Cute» Reindeer shortcake cookies (no Reindeer was harmed for my tasting pleasure!)
They were all really tasty, not to sweet that makes my throat hurt but sweet enough to satisfy my sweet teeth and give me a sugar high…
Self served format as you use a tong to put your goodies in brown bags. It is so easy to pick up more baked goods since they all look deliciously tempting!
Simply Yummy Bakery also bakes custom cakes for wedding, birthday and other special occasions!
