Boteco São Bento

O Boteco São Bento já virou um classico nesse endereço e já passou por muitas mudanças ao longo do tempo.
Acho esse daqui um pouco melhor do que o da Vila Madalena.
Preço um pouco alto pelo chope, e pela comida também. A costela no rechaud é muito boa, mas é meio cara, então não vale tanto a pena.
Não há muitas opções de cerveja e chope. E voce tem que ficar esperto, torque se voce vaciar o garçom vai colocar um chope novo na sua mesa sem voce ter terminado o que está bebendo. Por isso eu peço o chope da Stella, porque eles só trocam quando pedimos.
Tomei alguns drinks do menu; o pisco sour estava bom, o gin&tonic veio num copo esquisito e era mais tonica do que gin.
O bar tende a lotar durante a noite, aquele clima de happy hour do trabalho + paquera. Se voce vier para isso, ok, senão não é um bom lugar para tomar uma e conversar.

First the good: the appetizers and meats we ordered were good. We had plenty to share amongst 5.
The just okay: beer selection. They were out of most of their menu selection, and only had Brama, Brama Black and Stella.
The bad: the place is not cheap, so one would expect great food and service. The servers had an attitude and we had 2 waiter changes. Not sure why. Basic things were not brought to the table with our appetizers (silverware, condiments, plates) and we had to signal our server (s) more than once, because nobody was checking in on us…
The food was okay. The meats had to cook a little longer on the skillets, but some of us didn’t mind it a little rare.

Pessimo atendimento, espera demorada. Chopp com 5 dedos de colarinho.
O ambiente e a musica sao boas.

Eu amo o lugar, animado, um som bem legal sempre, sempre ta cheio de gente bonita, atendimento bom, bebidas e comidas de primeira.
Mas dei 4 estrelas pelo fato da espera ser bem demorada, ou tem que chegar bem cedo ou reservar mesa de tarde.
Os valores são bem altos, mas isso não me faz tirar uma estrela, porque é o nível do bar que faz com que os preços sejam altos, vai quem pode pagar. Uma caipirinha por exemplo sai por volta de uns R$ 18,00. Mas muito boa!

One of the best dives in SP! Huge place, open ceiling, filled with square tables, huge wall displaying top shelf booze, tables outside under huge trees, and probably one of the best scenery in town ;-)
Two kinds of chop on tap, Stella and Brahma, both come freezing cold. Food menu is not as large as other bars like Boteco São Bento, but everything they serve is pretty good, plus, they have bigger portions of grilled entrees if you don’t feel like having aps for dinner.
Place gets packed everyday, best time to get there is around 5pm, after that, it becomes madness, then the only tables available are the ones that they’ll force you to buy a fifth of Kettle One.
