It’s kinda pricey and it’s kinda just okay. I like the concept and where this is going or would have gone. It certainly seems like it’d be better than Quick. Sadly, it’s pretty rough around the edges. The burgers look good. Like they should look good, but when you get them they kinda look sad. Maybe it’s the lighting? Or how they’re made? Or the excessive amount of seeds in the bread? I don’t know. The bread actually seems like it’d be appetizing and for the most part my meal was pretty good, albeit more on the experimental side of flavor notes, in my opinion. I wanted the Veggie burger, but was quickly informed it was out, so opted for their«new» Crispy Chicken. A majority of Bernie’s menu is beef patties with only two non-red meat options. Maybe their beef burgers are better than their chicken? I’d have really liked to have tried the veggie though, but oh well. Anyways, the chicken was a standard chicken filet of the frozen processed kind. You know the drill. The breading was really greasy, but the sandwich itself wasn’t bad. I’m used to chicken sandwiches being a bit more simplistic in condiments and toppings usually the mayo and lettuce drill with an occasional tomato thrown in. Bernie’s crispy chicken had a tapenade with a honey dijon, red onion, spring mix and more. This just sounded good. I was pretty excited, but it ended up being an odd composition of flavors. So what? It wasn’t for me. Still decent meal. I also ordered fries which scored me a cone from Fritkots next door. They don’t seem to share a grill exactly, but if you get fries in your order it’ll be from them. Fries were okay. I’m not sure how great Gare du Midi food court fare can get since so far I’ve been rather unimpressed with a lot of it, but if Bernie’s can sort the rough edges they’d be a really nice option.

It does what it says on the can and its better than the quick burgers… as far as food goes at midi station… the burger is nice and you actually feel like you had some sort of real food :)

Very uninspiring burger, nothing was good about it. Fake grill makes n all. Fries are pretty terrible at well. Not exactly one star, as it looks sanitary. Food-wise, ghastly.
