Some of the best thai food in Sydney– vegetables are always super fresh and plentiful. Great pad thai and satay. And the rice paper rolls… wow. I could eat these every day. Make sure to get the dipping sauce. Delicious smoothies as well. Oh and I also like the sticky rice for dessert ! And the chicken fried rice. And pad see ew. I live around the corner and probably go here way too often.

Excellent take-away and delivery. I would strongly recommend Kukthai over Eat Thai.

This is Thai with a sandwich flavor. Not literally(because, ew) but numerically. There is Thai food here and there are sandwiches. And banana bread. And fruit juices. And my God, it works. Kuk Thai is not made for the idle person. There’s seating but it’s sparse(there are enough seats for about six people) and the others come and go. And come and go. And come and go. It could be Central Station in here(perhaps more Chatswood). I always sit because I want to savor. I get the Pad Gra Pao(chili, basil, garlic and capsicum) with chicken and brown rice(what a delicacy that has proven to be in Sydney) and it is phenomenal. Really fresh and really collourful and really tasty. The Pad Kee Mao noodles with chicken are also a stand-out. If you want a sandwich you’re also in luck. They have everything you would expect from a sandwich bar and it’s cheap. Juices here also look great. One other thing you need to do. Go for the lunch special. $ 10.90 for a meal and drink.

You can always tell a good takeaway Thai joint by its curry puffs. And these little golden guys will rock your world. A few life saving words of advice based on experience… hoe in with caution to avoid second degree burns to mouth. All the usual Thai suspects appear here and you can’t really go wrong. My usual dinner for one is the stir fry chicken with cashew nuts and chilli jam(I get them to throw in some crispy basil leaves for good measure). The authentic Thai salad tossed with mint, shallots, cherry tomato, coriander, Spanish onion, cucumber, lemon juice and chilli will add a refreshing zing to any order. Dine in if you like. There are a few small tables to vie for, but this place can cop some heavy takeaway traffic, so I’d take out and head home. These guys also make a mean coffee and fresh juices. Oh, and their menu is ‘hot fuchsia’ so you won’t have to look too hard to find it, plus it can really liven up the kitchen as a colourful fridge addition. Just add magnet.

This cute little Thai restaurant seats a maximum of 10 people. it’s not designed to eat in, but you can find a space if you don’t have a place to take away to. I really like the food in this place. The vegies are always super fresh and I feel like I’ve had quite a healthy snack when I’ve eaten here. As a vegetarian I find they have quite a larget variety. I love their rice paper rolls with sweet chilli sauce. They cost $ 6 and there are about 3 in the box and they will fill you up if you’re feeling slightly hungry. If you want something more substantial go the Pad See Ew — larger rice noodles with vegies. The aromas and flavours are scrumptious and its a very fulfilling meal in all sense of the word. The price is sensible — you’ll probably be paying around the $ 12 for a dish… but they’re quite filling so you won’t really need anything extra… I would also suggest trying one of their fresh juices — you’ll feel much healthier after having a sip…
