Decided to head here as it was in the reception of the Sage Hotel where I was staying and they gave me a voucher for the«No ordinary fries» which got me in. I believe it only opened a few weeks ago and the restaurant looked great nice & fresh with friendly staff! I ordered the fries, old favourite shake(malted vanilla), created my own burger and had the deep dish Apple pie for desert. Quite a hearty meal but I wanted to try everything! The fries were disappointing and really weren’t my kinda thing they had pulled pork, jalapeños and cheese on them which sounded good in theory but the pork was dry with no sauce and the cheese was odd tasting. The shake was also disappointing although some may enjoy, I prefer a thicker milkshake I think this just had milk and no ice cream just not to my liking unfortunately. The burger was good I selected Angus beef, brioche bun, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, cheddar, bacon, mustard and ketchup. It was yummy!!! The only criticism I have is that the patty was a bit too thick which made the burger fall apart other than that no complaints. I then ordered the apple pie which was huge and also delicious no complaints either. Would recommend coming here if your staying at the hotel but don’t go out of your way! Total cost was $ 41 including a Pepsi & excluding the comped chips however it’s worth noting the burger comes with fries also which were good I just didn’t eat them due to the pulled pork/jalapeño ones.
