Have tried this bakery a couple of times for pies and pasties, and have never had a good one. The pastry is floury and limp, and the fillings don’t taste like much. Some of their other food and drinks may be ok, but I’m not game to try.

I’m a regular here for their cheap custard tarts, however I was wary about trying the coffee. Just the vibe of the place. When the latte came out in a tall glass with a mountain of froth, it wasn’t looking hopeful. First sip — burn, didn’t taste anything. When it was cool enough to taste, I had quite a nice flavor — mild, but tasty, and very milky. I think I’ll actually get my coffee here again, but I will definitely ask her not to make it so hot. Their custard tarts have a rather fake flavor, and the rest of their sweet things are bulk made and not great quality(I still like them though…). It’s their savoury food that is really worth coming here for. The have a large range of refrigerated and frozen pies at good prices, as well as a large cabinet of hot, ready to go tasties. Their cheese and spinach pie is a favourite of mine, as its very cheesy and full of chunky spinach. Their meat pies have minimum gristle and excess fat, so are good for their price. Another highlight is their cheap Vietnamese pork rolls. For $ 3.90, the bun is fresh, the meat tasty and plentiful, and the veges reasonably fresh. All in all, a great deal.
