The Crooked Fork Cafe

I haven’t been to the Victoria Park outlet however have recently visited the new Applecross shop several times as it’s located near my work.
This place seems to be stealing a fair amount of traffic from Toscanini’s across the road which seemed to have it in the bag around here for many years! I’ve noticed they’ve picked up their cyclists and a few rowers. They do an all day breakfast which I have not tried. In recent summer months I like to get in and out because it needs more sufficient air con. However I’ll give it a go in winter.
I had a slushy juice to cool me down and I recommend their wraps and coffee. Their wraps are full of chicken filling and flavor.
Id say the short waiting periods and the coffee which isn’t burnt unlike surrounding businesses is why they’re picking up the new business. Attitude I think makes a difference.
This place is not pretentious, is rather
consistent and they have a good attitude towards their customers which I think is a
winning formula. I wish them all the best in success for the future.

This café is pretty new, I have been here a few times. They are quit friendly. Sometimes overly friendly which makes me feel a bit awkward, wanting to talk so much and yelling out to people as they walked past. But I guess friendly is better than being rude.
It’s in an awkward spot next to the bus stop. I always want to get a coffee but never can get one because I won’t have time to drink it before the bus comes and I can’t take it on there.
I like how they have stools at the front so you can people watch as well and the prices are pretty good.
