Nandos Sydney

So delicious! I had the chicken beast in pita with which was great and my husband had the chicken breast burger. I also had a side of the spicy rice… I could haven eaten a whole pot full of that yummy rice!!!

The chicken here is delicious! Well-​seasoned and moist. The sauce compliments the chicken well and is actually great on other food as well. But, the hot is very hot! Chips are nicely seasoned here as well. If you’re feeding a group, the tear and share platter is a great option. The African grain salad (basically a tabouli salad with lentils), hummus & veggies are a nice, healthy alternative to chips. Coleslaw was alright. It had too much sauce for my taste but I’m sure others may enjoy. The rice was meh. Wouldn’t order the rice again. Those were the only sides I sampled.

This Nandos should be renamed «Hit & Miss». Some orders they hit it out of the ball park, other times they completely miss the mark and mess up your order.
This place could benefit from a self service ordering screen or App to place your order, pay and collect. Nothing worse then being in a line with someone who has never been there before and needs the entire menu, sides, and sauces explained to them.
Actually worse is when you order but then they give you something completely different and then insist that’s what you asked for.
Although Nandos taste pretty good, they are also double the price of Oportos literally on the street parallel back of their exact location and at half the price.
Keep your expectations low here and then you won’t be disappointed.

YUM! Spicy and juicy chicken. They also have a location at a closeby mall’s food court, that one stays open later. Chicken Peri Peri. Staff was friendly and service was prompt. Food was as ordered and prepared fresh and quick. Will try again!
