As a traveller on business, it is often awkward dining out alone, but Charr is quietly refined, with large, well spaced tables and an airy feel.
They are predominantly about steaks, but do have a good range of seafood and chicken offerings.
After placing my order, I was offered a complimentary appetiser (a mushroom consommé) with a round of crusty bread.
Next my 300g Fillet, cooked perfectly, was brought to the table, accompanied by potato au gratin and grilled shallots. Delicious!
Lastly, I was offered complimentary petit fours before asking for the bill.
The wine list is limited by the glass, but has some interesting offerings.
All round, an enjoyable experience for groups and lone diners alike.
