They have several takeaway curries and fried rices for under $ 8, but I have discovered an item on this menu that is a bit of a secret … order the Laarb!!! It is a Thai meat salad composed of mostly ground chicken in a yummy chili lime dressing. I like to pair this dish with some steamed rice. This salad, served cold, is the perfect dish for hot Brisbane summers.
Tell the chef if you like your food spicy, he has adjusted the spice level of my meals to perfection.

This is definitely a good one for students as the prices are great and the servings large. I’m a bit of a Pad Thai fiend, so that’s all I’ve tried from there, but one serving of it will give you two meals (if you’re a relatively small eater like myself) and it comes with plenty of crushed peanuts, lime and lots of sauce. There’s dine-in space but the ambiance isn’t fantastic, so I suggest take-away. I love cheap little Thai places like this, so perhaps I’m biased, but I’d highly recommend this to St Lucia residents.

I used to live along Sir Fred Schonell Drive and on those nights where I did not feel like cooking Thai Treasure was a good alternative. There is something about family owned businesses that makes me smile. Thai Treasure is obviously one of those places. Walking in there the other day, I could see the owners cooking and serving while the old grandma sitting in the corner looking after their two young children. The shop itself isn’t much more than a hole in the wall but the homeyness of the place really does come from the people.
They have pretty affordable prices and I can recommend their satay chicken as a great and filling entrée. Their coconut rice is just right, not too sweet like you find at other places. While you can dine in, I tend to just grab take away which is always cooked in a reasonable amount of time. The convenience of Thai Treasure makes it a great little local take away joint if you live in St Lucia.
