Pets On Semaphore

There’s a lot for offer at Pets on Semaphore for your best friend. The amount of stuff that is just outside the front door tells you that. There is a huge amount of accessories, toys and treats (mainly for your cats and dogs). If you’re lucky they have some gorgeous puppies and kittens in stock, along with a large range of fish. The staff here are generally very helpful with fulfilling your needs and wants. Also, because it’s family owned you know you’re helping people out by buying your accessories and treats from here unlike your big chain stores.

This is a lovely family-​run pet store — bonus points for the pink free range chicken.
Absolutely loaded with pet accessories, this little store is *the* place to visit for pet treats: from dried meat to bones to chews, leads and toys, they’ve pretty much got anything and everything for that spoiled mutt or cranky cat.
I come in here to get my mum’s ridiculously minuscule dog a treat or two, and she loves them. They also have a massive range of fish for sale, which my niece makes a beeline for every time we visit, as well as puppies and kittens every now and then.
They’re friendly and welcoming, and you WILL need to keep your eyes peeled for the pastel pink fluffy chicken that pecks around like it owns the place. Which it might… And there’s usually a huge parrot and a few birds on stands around the store too, which aren’t for sale but just do their thing.

Bulging out the door are all shapes and sizes of dog beds, kennels, trampoline beds, stuffed toys, leads and inside there’s more stuff. I’m sure at the end of the day having to move everything back inside they have to quickly lean against the door with their backs hard against it and lock it before it explodes out!
The pet shop is very well stocked with supplies for all creatures great and small, from dogs to mice, their pet bearded dragon is certainly not shrinking, he’s huge. They do sell puppies, which I personally don’t agree on any pet shop doing as breeder direct is better, but anyway. The owner and staff are friendly enough and certainly know their products and what can help with a minor ailment, otherwise it’s a trip to the vet down the road. Besides dogs, they also have fish for sale.
They also run an engraving service to personalise your pets name tag.
