Golden Chain Moonlight Bay Resort

I stayed here on a weekend away to the Mornington Peninsula and the Peninsula Hot Springs. Booking via Wotif was easy, and everything was ready and as described on arrival. We even got a free upgrade — bonus! The staff were friendly and helpful. The room had everything expected and it was clean and in good condition.
The location is just off the Rye main shops and the super market is about a kilometer away. Rye beach and the pier are on the other side of the highway (a few hundred metres).
The best feature had to be the outdoor heated pool and spa. It was warm enough to go straight in — even on a mild spring day.
Something to watch finding it is that Napier street is closed at the Nepean Highway end (so there is no through traffic, which keeps the noise down). But if you don’t know this you could drive passed it several times — like we did. You have to come in via Nelson st.
