Amazing staff, good cups of coffee, and cheap sandwich-coffee deals to set you for the morning. These guys know how to make you feel like a friend and after barely a week I was asking for«the usual». Highly recommend them!

Quirks is a part-café, part take-away deli. They have a counter with lunch foods on offer, and some seats, inside and out. They sell bread, coffee, sweet things and condiments. I feel like this place lacks a bit of character, and is unsure about what it is trying to be. Also, Quirks feels very empty — they simply don’t have that much stuff on sale.

Good name. Cute café. Not so sure about the sound of a microwave in the background — perhaps they could up the music a little. In all fairness the food looks wholesome, nutritious and home made — in the scrumptious way. They sell loaves of gluten free bread(bought in not made on premises) but they don’t sell gluten free sandwiches. They do have gluten free sweets(which are better anyway right?) like Florentines, caramel slice and brownies. Back to the savories though — the mushroom, feta and walnut risotto balls are gluten free as are the mini tarts. I love the window couch area with small palm trees and colourful pillows — a reminder of my travels through Guatemala. The wall of posters are a great distraction from my work too — there’s Marilyn, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Beatles, Audrey Hepburn, Michael Jackson, a young Leo DiCaprio… it’s an adult version of an idol wall. Service is friendly and efficient. Coffee tasty and hot.
