Absolutely amazing. A real family atmosphere. Very friendly staff who are more than happy to cater to your every request or whim. We were given a very expensive bottle of wine for no extra charge just because they didn’t have our requestest selection. This Restraunt is definitely in my top 10.

Okay — now I’ve been here for brekky as well. Loved it! Coffee was great, my mushrooms on toast with greek cheese was wonderful. If I was being picky, I would say that my poached egg was a bit hard. Service was professional rather than overly friendly.

Filling the shoes of Perama is an epic chore. But after an agonising wait Petersham finally has a new restaurant — Seed Cuisine.
We had dinner with 7 people on a Thursday night. We decided to order «Perama Style» ie. a mountain of dishes to share (maybe I just can’t let go…). Although the menu looks like a entrée-​main-​dessert per person deal, I can highly recommend creating your own mezze style dining. Staff are happy to oblige with extra plates!
The menu has a weird mix of Mediterranean flavours — everything from Greek favourites like spanakopita, to the very French Duck confit. I’m not sure I’m a fan of the concept, but the food is good so whatevs. Maybe they’ll refine it when they see what sells.
They also do breakfast on weekends so I’ll be back with an opinion on how their eggs are, whether you want to hear it or not! ;)
