I’m giving Marmion Beach 3⁄5 stars compared to other Perth beaches, if it was a worldwide rating it would probably score 4⁄5. The south end of the beach has a small rocky cliff that drops into reef, so it can be good for snorkelling on calm days. This end of the beach is often patronised by retirees, you’ll often see what must be Polar Bears swimming throughout winter. Unfortunately this end of the beach has become quite eroded, so there isn’t that much of the sandy beach left. At the north end of the beach, stretching up towards Sorrento, the beach begins to widen and there is much more room to lay around and sunbathe. There is a small car park and a toilet block at this beach.
