Hillarys’ Beach

Hillarys’ Boat Harbour is spectacular because of the amount of resources it can tap– the BIGGEST scorer for me is the beach.
The beach is almost 2 ks long and has been set up in the marina to allow the locals and clued up visitors to enjoy the water in a safe, controlled environment. The beach is patrolled by some sexy bronzed lifeguards (blokes) and also houses a playground towards the back of the beach. There isn’t too much action in the way of waves so taking a boogy board or surf board may be a tad embarrassing. There have been rumours of the boats in the marina emptying their on board waste (of the bodily variety) into that port but, true or false, it hasn’t dinted the popularity of the beach.
I prefer Sorrento but I can see how this beach ticks a lot of boxes in the convenience department. The showers and closely located restrooms make it a prime spot.
