Small and quaint with lovely service, and creative and delicious food. Only frustration is expensive but for good food I would pay.

This place is super cute, from the quirky plates and cutlery to the super healthy eats finished with edible flowers! I had their homemade banana bread that was fresh out the oven served with a side of Nutella. Great for brunch dates but there’s not much seating so get there early!

Wow i just loved the vibe at this little gem in northbridge. Besides the wait– which isn’t too bad on a beautiful summer day in Perth. There isn’t much to be disappointed about when it comes to flora and fauna. The food presentation is so pretty, lots of colour and flowers– but kore importantly flavour! We had the smashed pumpkin in GF bread — this was a combo of strong garlic, hint of cumin and perfectly salted. Like morocco in my mouth. Served with Avo and tomatoes– all I can say is yum! We also had the banana bread meal– O M G. I’ve never had a more moist and toffee like banana cake. Served with a choice of dolce de leche, Nutella or peanut butter and a mix of sweet fresh fruit. Ah I can’t wait to come back!

After following some amazing reviews on here we chose this place for our Sunday morning breakfast and unfortunately we’re very underwhelmed. We both ordered the avo smash with a pot of scrabbled eggs(due to there being no other egg option available). The food was ok but definitely nothing to write home about. The dishes were presented well but did not taste as good as they looked. On the other hand the coffee was good and the service was prompt. Perhaps it is only a good breaky location for those with a sweet tooth, the cakes looked lovely but not my ideal breakfast. Also no high chairs are available for those with bubs. Sorry but I couldn’t see where the 4.5 star average rating was when I visited.

Unfortunately I have been unable to eat here twice. The first time I arrived they were absolutely packed and they clearly do not have enough staff working. I understood this however and moved on. The wait time was over an hour apparently. The second time however, it was a similar story only the wait was not as long. They wouldn’t give me a time, and the canadian/american lady was extremely rude to one of the other staff members infront of me, as well as to myself. Just the way she behaved put me off & I ended up leaving.

Arriving not long after opening, we were lucky enough to get one of the last tables. The staff were really friendly as they handed me the menu and advised me to order inside when I was ready. The juice list looked good, but I did not order on this occasion. Studying the menu, there was plenty to choose from. I decided on the avocado smash with a side of scrambled eggs. Heading inside to order, I had to return to Nathan F to ask a question about his meal. I then went back in and finished the order. As I was paying, our coffees were being delivered to the table. I thought this was really good. They didn’t hold up our order while waiting for the complete order /payment. When my meal arrived I was surprised at how large it was. Lucky I was hungry, but on some days I could easily share the meal. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly staff where you can tell they genuinely enjoy their jobs.

Having heard so much about the freshness of this place, their clean eating menu, use of wholesome organic ingredients and gorgeous presentation of food, I had to jump on the bandwagon and visit. And boy did this place meet or shall I say ginormously exceed my expectations so much so that I couldn’t wait to get back home and write up a raving review. So flora and fauna. You walk into a tunes filled outdoor area with a small overlooking balcony café. Most seating is outdoor due to the small space. You have the option of sitting on crates or actual chairs. Please don’t sit on a crate. It hurts your bum and leaves a mark. The benches are also rickety so I suggest a solid stool for seating. The music is cool — definitely put me in a very relaxed mood. You have to wait to be seated due to seating being limited and then you pay at the counter. We were lucky to get seats immediately on a Saturday around 11. Everyone must be at the beach but yay lucky us. The menu only had five brunch items. I was not happy as I had come just for the baja burrito and it wasn’t on there. I settled on the mushroom bagel. My friend couldn’t decide between the goji bowl and the banana bread and settled on the banana bread. The juices look amazing but being a coffee person and having already had my morning cuppa I opted for water. And it was chilled with ice in it. Just the way I like it. Why do more cafes not put their bottles of water in the fridge? I’ve seen an increase in cafes serving water that is at room temperature only and during hot days in Perth this water tastes awful and doesn’t help with dehydration. Service was lovely with a smile from the guys out in the back sauteeing mushrooms and making coffee to the lovely waitresses who refilled my glass of water umpteen times with a smile. :) The banana bread came with fresh fruit(strawberries, apple, pear, grapes, half a mango), nutella and a big slice of sugar free dairy free gluten free banana bread. The presentation as expected was lovely. The banana bread ermagerd. A bite of banana bread literally melted in my mouth. And the nutella on top — amazing. I don’t rave about banana bread but this is one to rave about. So moist and flavoursome. Now for the fruit. Ok the fruit tasted fresh. Like the strawberry was the best strawberry ive ever had and I have never raved about fruit but I’m raving now. And the pear — heaven in my mouth. Now in comparison, it was so hard to love the mushroom bagel as much as the banana bread. The mushrooms were not hot enough, the pesto was super fresh, the bagel was slathered in hummus and topped with greens. Also got a lot of avocado on the side. I like places that are not stingy with their avocado. The mushrooms were ok but I think I could have just had the bagel with the hommus and achieved inner. Peace. It was that good. Can’t wait to try the goji bowl and go back for the banana bread. :) flora and fauna definitely did well.

Flora and Fauna has so many beautiful dishes with so many vegan options and some gluten free options that it should be a number one hot spot for everyone in Perth! It’s so charming and sweet and full of delightful people and flowers! Everything is presented so well with edible flowers and such large satisfying serves that you would not be disappointed. I only wish they had more seating as they only have six tables outside! Definitely a place to put on your bucket list immediately for everyone out there who loves brunch especially!

Amazing food and service as always! The tomato bruchetta was a winner. Recommend trying one of the juices as well. Seating is outdoors so dress accordingly.

This hip«hole in the wall» café currently stands as my favourite café in Perth and all for good reasons. Scrolling through their Instagram feed will brighten up even the gloomiest of days. Everything on the menu(including the menu itself) is prepared fresh daily. Make sure you get in early because this 18sqm micro café only has 6 tables and are all outdoors. If you are lucky enough(we got lucky) you can snag up a seat at their high top window seats inside the café. A great seat to people watch. Everything on the menu sounded so fresh and delicious! I let Vanopoly order first so I could buy myself more time to decide. In the end, I asked the waitress for advice. I was stumped between the apple crumble and the muesli. Seems like the apple crumble has been a bigger hit amongst the staff and customers so I ordered that. How pretty does it look?! It tasted as good as it looked — just like an apple crumble only healthier. Just think — Anzac cookies cross with an apple crumble with yogurt replacing the custard. I usually would say no to drinks costing $ 7.50 a glass but with a name like«ginger zinger» how could I say no? This juice was so refreshing and really quenched my thirst but I could have done without the honey and a lot(and I mean a lot) more ginger. Can you tell that I REALLYLOVEGINGER?! Vanopoly steered away from the sweets and ordered the herb smashed avocado with an extra side of eggs. Hmm… we both love avocado but there was something about the avocado that wasn’t quite right. It was brown in colour(possibly from the herbs) and it didn’t have the creamy texture avocado usually have. FINALTHOUGHTS Why do I love F&F? I felt so happy sitting in this vibrant café even though it was such a gloomy day. I loved how every dish is so beautifully presented and topped with edible flowers. Every plate is like a gift! Best of all, you’ll walk away feeling light and energetic rather than groggy and sloth like. The owners are super lovely and genuine people! They gave me guidance on where I could source fresh edible flowers for my cakes. My supplier kept running out of stock and these girls came to my rescue. Thank you! Watch out F&F! I’ll be visiting on the regular I already know what I’ll be ordering next time — the beautifully constructed french toast.

The food & service were equally lovely & the staff were especially accommodating to our greyhound who got not one but two little plates of treats! I’m so glad to keep finding vegan places in Perth as in my home town the only option for eating out is one vegan curry house. Vegan brunch is something I had never even thought of but after going here I definitely want to make it a more frequent event. The smashed avocado on Turkish bread that I had was fantastic(and had the prettiest presentation I’ve honestly ever seen) & I can’t wait to try the other menu items.

Not a big fan of vegetarian cuisine, but decided to give this a go nevertheless. Well, first off the cold pressed juice was really nice! I loved my strawberry sunrise, it wasn’t too tart or too sweet, a wonderful experience. Moving on to the actual food. My friend had the avocado on Turkish, and she was very disappointed. The avocado smash was great, it had nice flavour and texture, but the Turkish was cold and hard. She expected a warm toasted Turkish bread underneath the creamy avocado, but was defeated by the cold hard reality. I had the Canadian French toast. It was a mess. It looked like a mess on the plate and it tasted like a mess. They gave us a tiny, tiny pot of maple syrup to share between two plates of French toasts, which was not enough! The toasts came with an abundance of fresh fruit, but their tartness and sour tastes was accentuated by the presence of sweet syrup. The toasts themselves were not particularly outstanding, they tasted like soggy bread. Not sure if I want to come up for a second serve.

This place is a little gem ! I have been looking all over Perth for a vegan café, and oh have I found it! I had the smashed avocado, served on gluten free bread! My meal was too pretty to eat. It was delish! Staff were also very bubbly and friendly! I will be back!

No wonder this new Northbridge hang is so popular. Managing to grab a table on a Saturday morning was an achievement on it’s own, but we were so lucky a party were wrapping it up when we arrived. The café itself is a tiny hole in the wall with one space available inside to eat, but a few tables are scattered outside. I think they need a few more! The menu is vegan based, but even the meat esters will be impressed with the dishes. Clearly everything is made with love at this café, I was very impressed. I gave the Burrito a try and I was super impressed with the rich flavours and ample amount of filling. Each dish was decorated with pretty flowers and you can see why every foodie in town has been past! I’ll be back ASAP.

The lovely lady who runs this joint should be given a medal. Two, actually. One for her amazing, stunningly beautiful food and one for her customer service and lovely attitude. I asked for poached eggs instead of scrambled and she was more than happy to oblige. Not to mention she made the most perfect poached eggs on earth. The smashed avocado on Turkish bread was just outstanding. It was almost too beautiful to eat, but I managed. I’ll be back, glorious food lady. I love you.

Really delicious food! It’s a bit hidden down an alley but it has a really nice setup. We started off brunch with fresh juices. They were really refreshing. We then ordered the French toast and vegan mac & cheese. The French toast was the best I’ve ever had — delicious and loaded with blueberries. I don’t usually eat vegan food but I tried a bite of the mac & cheese and the sauce was unreal! The staff was friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely be coming back while I’m in Perth.

One word — adorable! This tiny café sells cups of coffee, tea and other refreshments, plus lots of raw desserts and bagels. They also sell tins of tea and flowers(by the stem) so you can brighten up your or someones else’s day. The owner operators are a friendly couple. They’ve done a great job of decorating the inside of the café, and the alfresco area, with cute bunting strung from bench to bench and cute pastel coloured chairs. The café is located down the same lane-way(if you could call it that) as Varsity, directly to the south east of The Aberdeen. It really is a nice spot to chill and take in the wall mural and less busier area of Northbridge during the day.

I love this place, not only do they have a very welcoming style with a vintage flare, their coffee is just a delight too. I especially like the cute chocolate on top of the coffee when you have it for takeaway. The taste is really good, it’s one that can’t be explained merely with words. Definitely a must go. :-)

Great customer service, lovely place tucked down a lane on aberdeen street, next to the Deen. They make all their own food and have a small but delicious selection for lunch made fresh each day.
