Arguably the best guest house in the Orange district! Four of us stayed in one of the two-bedroom suites. The room accommodated the four adults quite easily, with two separate bedrooms, one bathroom(with bath), and an open plan kitchen — lounge — dining area. Some of the things I really liked were: The complimentary breakfast baggie every morning, containing three slices of bread, jams, butter, margarine, flash fruit juices and gourmet muesli; Reverse-cycle airco; Pillow-top comfy beds(even in the double single beds); Plenty of pillow options; Extra blankets(but not required); Comfy couch; Large flat screen tv; Full range of kitchen utensils; Hot shower with broad head(not one of those pissy needle types); Fluffy towels changed daily, so I didn’t have to remember which one was mine; Great fireplace and comfy chairs in the quiet reception, if you needed space; Off-street parking; Lovely old-fashioned service, but modern décor and comforts; Centre of town location(just around the corner); TERRIFIC new wine bar just across the road! If you’ve got the inclination to stay somewhere a little classier than a motel, then have a look as the prices are really quite reasonable for a share scenario(it cost me under $ 250 for 3 nights over the weekend, shared cost).
