Midcity Motor Lodge

This place ticked most boxes; free wifi, decent sized clean rooms, tv, fridge, and smack in the middle of town. There is also a laundry which unlike any other place I’ve seen actually has free machines and dryers plus free washing powder!
The rooms aren’t as modern as some other motels but they’ve been spruced up a fair bit and the painters were working on some of the other rooms while I was there. The downsides were that the wi-​fi was hit and miss in peak times and the noise from the water hammers was unbelievable. I mean I can sleep through pretty much anything but the plumbing in this place sounded like a machine gun going off outside your room all through the night.
Overall if you pack some ear plugs for the plumbing its actually not too bad for a short stay in Orange.

This place is really tired, from home made chip board furniture to bug filled light covers. One of the worst beds I have ever tried to sleep on, would do a wide birth.
