I love French Connection. Love everything about it. The fashions, the accessories, the almost controversial t-shirts available. If I can’t go into one of the FCUK stores in Adelaide, I frequently look at what they have in stock on their website. I really like the store down The Parade because they seem to have regular sales on, which of course I’m a massive fan of. They may not be the cheapest store, but for a good quality brand, they aren’t all that expensive. I’m a proud owner of a «No fcuking worries» t-shirt, and wear it without shame — because, you know, I’m cool like that.

French Connection on the Parade at Norwood is the provider of one of my fashion staples when it come to picking up a new item for the warbrobe. Although this fashion chain shares a name with a 1970’s film about the drug smuggling, about the closest the French Connection fashion label has come to anything seedy was their FCUK marketing campaign. Although the letters supposedly stand for French Connection United Kingdom they say it all started when a fax from one of their Hong Kong stores with the heading ‘FCHK to FCUK’ started the craze. That craze culminated in thousands of t-shirts around the world being emblazoned with variations on the FCUK brand. Love it or hate it, it was one very clever marketing campaign. Marketing aside, the clothes at French Connection are usually simple and elegantly styled. Most of their clothes work well as separates which suits my wardrobe. They also have a good selection of bags and shoes that sell around the mid price range. The Norwood Shop is just opposite Café Buongiorno on the Parade and the staff are always helpful.
