Really nice place with lovely staff who looked after us without being overbearing. Food was amazing! The burgers are fresh and not dry or oily. The wait staff were very knowledgable on gluten containing items making sure to specify that while the fries are gluten free they are cooked in a fryer with gluten items, which as a celiac is so helpful to know.
This will be my new go to place for a good burger in Melbourne, such a good experience all round.

I don’t do burgers very often but when I do, I would really want it to be special. This place is in my neighborhood but delivers as well!
The burger I chose was 150g beef, maple bacon and Camembert. It’s delicious. Tasty, flavorsome, and cook well enough to not dry out.
I want to try their other burgers on the menu and you can also build your own!

I’d walked past hundreds of times, but was never hungry enough to stop buy. Sure I could have stuffed it down but when I’m smashing a burger I need to be hungry. I’m glad this day I was.
There is a huge list of ingredients to chose from if your prefer to design your own burger (beef, chick or veg). But I was too hungry so just ordered the no 1 burger and added guacamole. I shared a large chips with a mate.
The burger was amazing. Cooked to perfection (med rare) and all the fillings were fresh and worked well together. The chips (no french fries here (thank god!)) were crispy yet fluffy. And the sauces (free) on offer, were all delish.
I will be back!

Lots of choices in the menu or you can customise your own burger.
I will definitely go with number 2, it is a must at Babu.
The Thick chips are really good too plus the ranges of sauces.
The service was smooth, welcoming, and great.
A must if you are around VIC Market and looking to have a good Lunch or Dinner.

Oh my god best burger I’ve ever had, free delivery and yes you can buy wine, cider or beer as part of your take away order, only in Melbourne. I had the 150grm burger with Camembert cheese and maple bacon, with pickle and onion, tomato and lettuce. On the side you get bbq sauce, tomato sauce or some sort of yummy alioli sauce. You can choose thick chips or French fries as well. Please open a shop in Brisbane. I’m in love…

Babu burger is everything a burger should be. Well thought out on the inside, fresh and BIG! The sides and accompanying sources are pretty good too. For the carb conscious you can even order a burger with out the bun. To hell with that. Go the whole hog I say. You won’t be disappointed.
I like the mean looking delivery motorcycles neatly lined up outside too. Says a lot about the Babu brand. Plenty of attitude, but in a good way. Definitely burgers with balls.
Faultless customer service and this place is licenced too. Bring on beer o’clock!
