Just above average burger. The location is pretty cool warehouse type — but be aware — don’t sit too near the walls, I got a strong whiff of pee. I suppose the warehouse walls are used for other reasons at night.

YUM!!! Also just noted one is opening out the front of Melbourne central soon, goodbye summer body, it was nice attempting you. Seriously though, I find these burgers absolutely delicious, the perfect amount of grease, sensational meat with a generous serving of cheese and caramelised onion. Onto the trucker fries, OMG amaze, now I am that weird weird person who doesn’t overly enjoy chips, or potato of any form really but these trucker fries are loaded with bacon, cheese and some delish sauce that makes my life actually.
The staff behind the trucks are always very friendly, happy, cheerful and just generally smiley. Cheap, fast and sensational. Good job Mr Burger, you are a winner in my books!

A fastfood burger, not fast served or cheap. Fries are actually better at McDonald. 1 $ extra for putting a jalapeño pepper in it. I really cannot understand the rating… Maybe the location? Its a rather cool warehouse-​y feel. But really not a good choice unless u really want a burger and the next door mcdonald is closed.

Delicious! A wonderful juicy Burger. I had the standard Mr Burger and it was so yummy. I would definitely get it again. I wish I had two. The fries are good too. And the chilli Mayo is great. Wonderful customer service from the guy and girl working there this morning. Service was quick and friendly.

I had the Mr. Meat burger and it was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. There wasn’t a long line at all when I went there and I was literally just able to walk up and order. They even had good napkin which were large and made it to where you would only need 1, unless you had some sort of accident. Overall great experience and I hope I can make it back again before I leave Melbourne.

In an effort to escape the madness and endless queues of the Queen Vic Markets on a rainy Sunday, we were very happy to stumble into the relative peace and quiet of Mr Burger. We joined the relatively short queue but unfortunately, with only two staff on (one serving/​preparing, the other cooking) it took no less than 40 minutes for them to get through the 8 or so orders ahead of us. A little on the hopeless side if you ask me. I’ve written this review whilst waiting for the food so not even taking that into account as even if it’s brilliant, I won’t come back.

I ventured out to have Beatbox Kitchen on a Saturday afternoon and I thought no I will try something different and gave Mr Burger a try instead.
I think Beatbox Kitchen’s Raph burger is my favourite burger in Melbourne. Mr Burger do a really nice burger. I had the Mr Meat burger with a side of friends and I was very impressed. The burger was juicy and yummy and tasted very bad for me which is what I like sometimes when eating a burger. Looking forward to having another Mr Burger experience soon.

Today I was given notice that for my all week uni course I would only be given 20 mins for lunch! Twenty minutes! That pretty much cut out most of my lunch spots, so I thought I’d head down to the Queen Vic Market 200m down the road and check out Mr Burger. In order to efficient, I thought I’d check the menu ahead of time so to be as quick as possible. And then I saw a link. BUY ONLINE. Now I know this has been around enough that it’s not a completely new concept, but I’ve never needed to use it before. What a great bloody concept! I ordered ahead, and when I walked in, my burger was been wrapped in front of my eyes. Awesome!
Now in terms of the burger — it was great, but not quite up there with the best in my opinion. Thought it was a slightly sloppier version of Huxtaburger, and with maybe not quite as much flavour. But still enjoyable and worth the $ 10 and the added convenience of being able to order ahead!

The search is over: I think I have found my new favourite food truck.
After months of being basically everywhere that Mr Burger is not, I happened to catch them one night on Rucker’s Hill where they were in fierce competition with another burger truck. Mr Burger did not seem to have a line or long wait and now I’m questioning why, because their burgers are amazing!
Juicy, delicious burgers and perfectly seasoned chips in just the right portion sizes. I love that they have a few trucks and a couple of permanent locations so that you don’t find yourself missing them if you’re not in certain parts of the inner ‘burbs on certain days.

Popped in to Mr Burger truck outside the penny black in Brunswick for a burger after a big week of beers at good beer week. They offer 3 burgers, one of which is a vegie burger, which is a felafel pattie. The burger was packed full of extras and super tasty. Sometimes with veggie burger option is not very good and an afterthought but this burger was phenomenal and packed full of flavour. Lots of cheese and I’m sure not very good for you, but worth it! They do chips as well, which come in pretty big servings. Am definitely gonna have to eat one of these again.

Perfect juicy patty, lovely chunks of housemade pickles, gooey cheese, saucy stuff… numnumnumnum!

Is it weird that my favourite veggo burger in Melbourne comes from a food truck? Maybe it’s the dangerous fact that from time to time the truck parks a block from my apartment, or maybe it’s the attractive orange and white logo. Or maybe it’s just the fact that the falafel burger beats the pants off many of the +$ 15 competitors in trendy spots all over the city.
The first time I stopped by the truck, I was a little taken aback by the number of toppings — how were they going to get all that onto a burger and make it portable? Trust me, they pull it off well. Melty cheese on top of a hot falafel burger, with pickles (aw yisssss), lettuce, tomato, onion, mustard, ketchup, and mayo. It’s artfully put together and it tastes incredible. Like, Jesus take the wheel good.
So basically I’m ruined for all other veggie burgers now. Good problem to have, I reckon.

I happened upon this fine establishment after walking away from the outrageous lines at the Queen Vic Market night stalls… it was tucked away in a cute ally next to a Mc Donalds… I was not disappointed, this burger is number 5 on my Melbourne favourites… thick, juicy patties with carmalised onion and a sauce to die for. It would be higher up but the bun was soft rather than lightly toasted… details, details!
