Very impressed! Decent number of big fat juicy prawns in both our dishes, and sauces were very tasty — I’m pretty sure they make them themselves instead of using chain noodle bar glop. Cheap and cheerful, this one’s a winner!

Mr Lin is the newest noodle bar in the Wynnum/​Manly area and it’s pretty good. It beats the franchise noodle bars hands down; someone needs to tell those guys how a small number of fat king prawns in some dishes can be so much nicer than a handful of tiny shrimpy things.
Mr Lin make a great number 20 — Char Kuai Teow, which uses my favourite flat rice noodle and a dark spicy sauce. With 53 items on the menu at around $ 11.00 for a large takeaway bowl, promises that there’s no MSG and that all dishes are low in fat (well as low fat as a noodle dish can be obviously!), Mr Lin has already won me over.
