This little caffe is just down the road from me, and for the past 18 months have never visited. So I thought why not. It is a very humble caffe with GREAT Coffee, friendly staff and the food is yum. Could I have now found my knew local? Can’t wait to try more of the menu.

Being a local new mum in the area, coffee and brunch is my major addiction! This place ticks all the boxes. Great coffee, coffee window for easy access with pram. If you have to go inside you don’t feel like a monster for having to bring your child, they’ll find a space for you. Outside benches make good for brunch in the sun. The new addition of umbrellas was very welcoming. The food is also good, and reasonable. Have tried the brioche burger(yum), avo and feta smash(good) and corn fritters(delicious but small serving). Scrambled eggs were also good — not undercooked like you get at most places which is not to my taste. They also do gluten free which was great when my coeliac cousin visited. The staff are welcoming and accommodating. Not as ‘hipster’ as other cafés I’ve been to, they actually acknowledge your presence! Highly recommend. Best café in the area. Edit: corn fritters have tripled in size a welcome change!

Another of those small neighbourhood gems that seem to be popping up in unlikely suburbs. Standard café fare, good coffee(not great but good), smiling friendly staff of few of whom look a little too hipster for the location, and a welcoming feel. Tables are very close together so be prepared to get to know thy neighbour. It’s opposite the railway line so great for commuters and seems to attract a lot of cyclists who congregate on the north facing outdoor tables.
