By The Bridge

If you’re looking for a smoothie on a Sunday at 4pm in the suburbs, you would probably be out of luck as most eateries have closed by then. Thankfully, By The Bridge is open at that time.
By The Bridge is a part café /​part fish and chips fast food eatery. As Gordan Ramsay says, if a restaurant has everything on the menu instead of specialising on one thing, it’s a sign that the place needs improvement. By The Bridge is a bit of an odd combination.
Interiors are dark and dim (not the «cool» kind of dark and dim — more like the 5:30pm in Winter and can’t be bothered to turn on the lights type dark).
Sadly, the fruit smoothies have ice cream in them so not so nutritious, but they taste okay. Also no fresh juices.

Great place. Huge portions on various fried seafood. Good service and quick to get food. Reasonable prices. Great atmosphere.
