Great service. Good food. Good for a casual lunch or dinner. Definitely must try the bakso goreng!

Have been coming to this place for more than 10 years. Well established Indonesian food bistro. It started with a small eatery and the food is a great reflection of what we(Indonesian) miss from home. Good variation of meals: meat, veg, rice, noodles, etc. Single serving meals or meals to share. It’s a great family restaurant with a little play area for toddlers. Well airconditioned with a lot of space. I will continue coming here for years to come. Especially when I’ve gotten my Viet-Aus husband to get hooked on their food. Well done Pinang Bistro!

Just love it! Especially the fried rice which cooked in Indonesian way. It was sooooo good! Try the ones start with ‘Mega’ in the menu. You will get more than you can eat. There are three kinds of hot pepper sauces that you can choose from, which is also fantastic! Besides, there is also the space for children to play, which is also cute. You can also order take-outs~ Anyway, I just love it!

A good Indonesian restaurant in Sydney, probably as good or better than Delima when it comes to food quality. Nasi Kuning complete is fun to eat as it comes with three different dishes cooked with different chilli pastes. It’s very hot though. Their soto is delicious and comes in a heating pot. Their gadogado contains many different vegetables and is close to the authentic. There are so many Indonesian restaurants serving bad gadogado here. The service is restaurant grade. Spacious and good for group dinner/lunch. Would love to see ice kacang and fish dishes on the menu.

Pinang Bistro is Pinangsia Noodle House reincarnated. The new place is bigger, more spacious, and are now able to cater for big groups. It has children play area, the kids can play while waiting for food and/or after meal, so parents can enjoy their meal peacefully while enjoying some adult conversation with less interruptions. The food is tasty. My favourite is their Mie Ayam Karet, Indonesian style Thick Noodle with Chicken and Mushroom. It’s all time favourite street food in Indonesia. Try their Nasi Kuning Komplit. It’s yellow rice flavoured with tumeric with a bit of everything: beef rendang, fried chicken, tofu and some crunchy bits. Start with an entrée of Bakso Goreng, or in English, Fried Pork Meatball, dipped in chilli sauce. The service is friendly and attentive. There’s complimentary Indonesian dessert for everyone to enjoy after meal. A huge plus in my book!
