Roaming Bird

Yummmmmmmmm — as I walk into the small shop in Forest Way Shopping Centre, I feel spoilt for choice. In addition to the great-​smelling barbequed chickens (it is, after all, named after them), there’s a huge array of scrumptious-​looking salads. I’m torn — chicken caesar or pumpkin and goats cheese? Greek or rice salad? The choices are endless, and I’m pretty sure they will all be good. The one I evetually opt for is delish (the chickpea, rocket and pumpkin option, FYI), and I’m sure the others are all also — right up until I order, I’m feeling the indecision factor.
Coming in small, medium, large or family boxes, these salads aren’t cheap. But they are great tasting, healthy (if you avoid the Caesar) and sure beat getting McDonalds when you want take away.
