This is a very friendly little place, more like a neighborhood bar than a fancy wine shop. But, it does have a nice selection of wine as well. The courtyard out back is a shady, casual spot that is pet-​friendly. We sat out there on a Sunday afternoon with our dog-​child Penelope who was lavished with plenty of attention from the staff and customers. The Happy Hour specials were good and run everyday from 5 – 7. We didn’t get a chance to sample the food, but I’ll definitely be back soon.

Whether you’re in the mood for a quick cappuccino on the way to work, a glass of wine on the way home, a quick snack or full sit down brunch or dinner, this café with an inviting, intimate atmosphere will set you right. With a choice of seating out front, inside in the bay windows, outside in the back or upstairs with a function, the free wifi will keep you occupied while your order arrives.

Presse is a typically chic Melbourne wine bar that is a little out of place on Brighton Rd but is none the less really good.
An afternoon beer where you can sit and play on the computer (free wifi), have some good snacks and enjoy a really nice outdoor area out the back is great. Its comfortable and has a lot of appeal where there’s always a few people just on their own enjoying a wine and reading or a coffee and will watch something on the big screen.
It all works there.
I feel like it would be a great place for a function or party so might have to recommend it to a friend so I can have a birthday there!
