Not bad for a quick pub lunch if you’re at that end of town. The prices are pretty much what you’d expect of pub food and they have the usual meals of pizza, steak sandwiches, burgers etc. I ordered the daily special(which was the lamb skewers) at a cost of $ 15. It came on bread, with a side of fries and salad. The lamb and fries were pretty good. The bread — although unexpected was actually a good idea to put under the skewers to soak up all the meat flavour. I very much enjoyed that. The salad though — if you could call it that, was about a palm size of shredded lettuce, a couple of strips of onion and two thin strips of cucumber. I guess my gripe with this was that it was promoted as skewers + fries + salad… when it was in fact more like garnish. I’ve got no issue with having no salad — just don’t advertise one thing and provide another. It’s misleading.

The ‘PSR’ as they market themselves is a nice addition to the Hyatt complex; it has a nice, clean, modern take on the regular hotel bar. They have a very decent selection of beers on tap, though the average pint costs $ 10 which is at the high end of the Perth market… The service was quicker considering there was only a single bartender on Tuesday after work, however he did a great job of acknowledging you and remembered the order we all queues in; which is always appreciated. The outdoor area is great on a cool day, on a hot one the amount of surrounding brick will add to the swelter! A nice touch is they somewhat cater for families, with food(proud of the brunch menu) and even board games available behind the bar.
