I came across these guys because s mate of mine lives across the road. The make THE ABSOLUTE BEST continental roll I’ve ever eaten! And anyone who knows me knows how much I love continental rolls! The Mrs loves their green lemon and garlic olives. We practically buy a kg at a time when we visit our friend. From memory their continental rolls are like $ 6.50 each and you ain’t going to beat that price anywhere in the cbd! If your ever driving down Canning Highway you have to stop in and give this place a go! This place is literally stuck in time but in a good way and we love it! Make sure You say Hello to Mamma Lo Presti.

Lo Presti and Son is a lot like Kakulas. They stock the same sort of products, like canned chickpeas, dry beans, nuts, seeds, pasta, canned tomatoes, tahini and other gourmet deli foods. Their set up is a little bit more chaotic, due in part to their tiny premises, but because of it’s location the store is hardly ever bursting with a sea of hungry Fremantle folk. It’s a cute and reliable local deli with a friendly, small-​town feel.
