When I arrived the place didn’t have it’s flash pants on, it looked old and dark so my first impression was nah lets go somewhere else but I was here already and hungry so I reluctantly decided to give this place a go.
Staff recommended I try Beef massaman curry and to my delight it was delish! But no more delicious than the Pad eggplant with chicken mince and chilli.
Dinner was for two but the portions were enough for four! The saying you get what you pay for does not apply at More Rice.
$ 12 a dish for delicious huge portions! So don’t let the look of this place fool you.
I definitely be coming back for more!

I go to this restaurant at least once a week because the quality of food is outstanding. I have tried many Thai restaurants in the inner west but the only one to approach this is Atom Thai in Newtown. More RIce is a cheap and cheerful with very classy food. I go there for the food not the ambiance although it is very friendly! No matter what I order it is fabulous. The chef’s specials are outstanding — Massaman like straight from heaven, stir fries that are so tasty and fresh I want to eat them every day, and fabulous seafood dishes. BYO, efficient service and fantastic food — terrific!

I forgot about this place till now. I felt like some nice, good Thai. I couldn’t remember if there was a nice place around where I live and then — yes there is!
The food is really fresh, nice and healthy like all Thai.
I got duck curry as I’m a big fan of curries and some spring rolls.
Everything was nice and fresh and the portions where for two people so I did have lunch Thai next day !
I will definitely come back for more.
