Dome

A pretty standard Dome with the added bonus of being 2 storey. I have had a very mixed experience of here in the past but this time I could not fault it. The service was quick the wait staff were polite and the food was good! Great for a quick, convenient bite. I had the eggs benedict with smoked salmon and by the end of it I was stuffed. I am likely to go back.

Updating a older review that I have made before, I would have given 1 star but I have to commend the slightly friendly staff and quick service but when your very simple macaroni and cheese comes out with a black pube looking hair I wasn’t too impressed but to then look through from my seat into the kitchen to see the chef only wearing a «cap» backwards and not a hairnet it’s easy to see why it ended up in my dinner… I am a regular diner here but this is a honest disappointment. I’m normally not the one to send food back but I did and then went from cold dry hairy mac n cheese to warm saucey non hairy food yes it improved but I don’t pay over priced prices for hairy food.

Dome Cockburn central is by far the best dome I’ve been to. It’s two story’s makes for an excellent view whilst sipping my coffee and using the free wifi to read my book online. The staff are friendly & attentive, always cheerfully smiling & going above & beyond when serving me. They always make me feel like I’m the most important customer in the café, even on those days when the café is busy & they are run off there feet. I have been coming here since the café opened and have seen it got through its ups & downs, but I would have to say, it’s wonderful to see how much it has grown as a café since day one. This is a place I hope to bring my kids & there kids to for many years to come.

It’s more or less ur standard Dome except it is much bigger with a second story. The service was good and food arrived quickly.
I had the waffles with strawberries and ice cream. The waffles themselves were quite sickly sweet, they had been coated in something, almost candied before being cooked. I love sweet things and I am always looking at the dessert menu before looking at the ‘proper’ food and this was too much for me!
Coffee was filled to the brim but tasted good. We will go back :)

Updating my review on this dome as it’s certainly come a very long way since it’s start up. The staff have improved immensely, there seems to be a fairly semi-​permanent set of faces around now and everyone I’ve come into contact with has been great. Especially the morning crew. I go along to catch up with my dad at least once a week now for breakfast and we’ve certainly become known regulars. On occasions we’ve been offered complimentary additions to our meals and even staff discounts on coffees, can’t argue with that!
Food is as you’d expect from any Dome. Consistent and reliable, set menu with the occasional addition depending on the season. Pricing is pretty mid range but is very much a place to go for a catch up or lunch rather than a formal sit down meal. Parking is a little lacking here because of how busy the complex is unfortunately but there’s nothing the business could do about that.
Lengthy wait times for meals seem to be a thing of the past, during start up it was out of control but everyone now seems to be very much on top of things. I would strongly recommend this place for breakfast on the way to work, huge range of light meals that won’t leave you without choice.

This Dome is so close to home I have continued to come despite my bad experiences here.
And I’m so glad I have — it has continued to develop in its efficiency and service and has ironed out most of the kinks. Service is mostly efficient and the staff are polite and friendly. I have never had an issue with the food, it’s consistently good. I will say that I believe Dome in general has become a little overpriced for the products and quality it offers, but hardly anything this Dome has the power the affect.
A great, quick and easy place to catch up with friends, grab a coffee or a café style meal.
