Friendly service and good food! There was also live music while we were eating, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

Great laid back wood n rustic does it feel kind of place. Byron Bay offers plenty of places to eat but not in this class. There are pub type eateries, smaller take aways, but not too many nice looking cafes. Most meals are near $ 20 and over which for a pulled pork lunchtime sandwich is expensive as is a scooner for $ 8. Presentation was nice as was the service and all the meals looked well crafted, with some laid back flair and pride. It’s hard to walk past it because it looks inviting and I’m only sorry I didn’t test them on their coffee.

Best décor, very buzzy with live music, great food, attentive service. And a bakery! Very central location, prices to match. Loved breakfast here!

Let’s face it — the café is in the core of Byron Bay so it is pricey(eg $ 10 for a smoothie!) Having said that, the venue was charming and the food was fresh and tasty. I had the croissant special with poached egg, haloumi and rocket.

My friend and I stopped here after a day of driving from Newcastle as we were making our way up the east coast of AUS. We were looking for a place to grab dinner before we headed off to bed, and this place came recommended from people we met driving in. It looks really great from the outside, as well as inside. Great ambiance and it’s decorated nicely. The menu came on a clipboard which I though was cool and the menu was divided between breakfast/lunch/dinner. Everything on the menu was pricey. I opted for a free range chicken salad and my friend ordered the Tasmanian salmon. The salad looked very fresh, however, the dressing was very bitter and I was not a huge fan. My friend was not overly impressed with his salmon either, as he described it as bland. They also had«marjaritas»(margaritas served in a mason jar) there as well and were going for $ 17 a jar. l found to be a bit ridiculous. I would’ve given this spot 4-stars but our waitress was also cold to us, and we didn’t receive the nice little surfer town charm I’ve been hearing so much about. Oh well. Maybe your experience will be different!

SUPER nice vibe, well located and cool live music. That being said, it is a bit overpriced compared to everywhere else. Note that juices are not served post 4pm(which is just… weird). Great service and ok good, good for a coffee and I suspect must be great for breakfast — the viennoiserie looked delicious but I didn’t order any.

This place has a great atmosphere. Went on a Wednesday night and there was live music(the musician was really really talented) and the place was filled. People watching from the front tables is fun. Food was pretty good. A lovely extensive menu, with good healthy choices. Zucchini Fritters were a bit bland, but healthy and fresh. Beef Ribs special were quite gristly and fatty, but the side greens were exceptionally good. Service was awesome, everyone was friendly, and our waitress hd perfect timing. Service and atmosphere deserve the four star of this rating, but I have to say the food would get three. Good beer and wine selection too!

Overpriced but you expect that in Byron, the breakky burger was overpowered with a large dose of aioli and way too salty bacon. The fruit salad was drowned in honey and the coffee tasted weak and burnt. On the positive the staff were lovely and the location is perfect.

The ultimate for breakfast, had the free range eggs, avacado, mushrooms and coffee to die for. Service impeccable and friendly, great food, fresh, amazing vibe and the music appropriate. Do not overlook this place if in Byron. Truly amazing and I will be back. Oh and FREE Wifi… go you good thing.

Since my last rating 8 months ago I’m dropping them by a star. Food is tasty, location is great and ambiance is perfect with live music out the front. They are WAY stingey on the protein in the meals. Tiny servings of chicken and salmon. So much so that you pay $ 25-$ 30 for a main and leave hungry. I’ll keep going back but will stick to coffee and dessert.

We had breakfast here on a chilly, Sunday morning and it was quite busy which I always take a good sign. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff were both friendly and helpful. My partner loves her food and for her to smile after her first, few bites I knew we had a found a good place. We both also enjoyed the coffee and the way it was well presented(it’s the little things you remember). Would definitely go back on my next trip to Byron.

We came here for dinner one evening and loved that it was BYO. They charge a $ 3 service fee per person. We thought that was reasonable and brought in two bottles of wine to enjoy with our meal. I did not like my meal so on that so for food, I would give it two stars. I ordered the Pasta of the Day special with prawn, mussels, broccoli, green beans, chili, garlic, onions. It was completely lacking in flavor. For me, a special dish is supposed to better than what’s on the menu. It is supposed to be something that you wish they offered more often. NOT in this case, I thought it was a poor attempt and the prawns were medium sized shrimp and the mussels were tiny. My friend ordered the same thing and couldn’t even finish her meal. Our other friends ordered the zen burger, chicken burger, and the salmon special. They liked their meals which 3⁄5 is OK. Our server was nice and the ambience of the place is the only reason I can bump it up to 3 stars. The food quality(especially for seafood) should be better than what we were offered. If I return, I would definitely order something off the main menu than the special.
