Deeeelish! The line moves fast, the prices are cheap, and the sushi is fresh. My only gripe is that you have to pay for ginger packets(which I tend to eat by the dozen). Good news is that if you’re getting it to go to eat by the river, Kabuki 2 Go is right down the street where you can snag a drink and load up on the ginger.

Don’t let the line down the street deter you, they are super quick and you will be at the front of the line in no time. The hand rolls are lovely & fresh, my fav is the fresh Salmon & Avocado. For something a bit different try the smoked salmon & cream cheese. There are a few seats inside but it’s better to grab a few rolls and some complimentary wababi, ginger & soy sauce and head down to the river to enjoy the view.

The LR Sushi bar on Felix Street has always been a lunchtime favourite around the top end of Eagle Street, and has recently expanded to include a grill section as well as the usual sushi range. The hand rolls are expertly made and packed with fresh ingredients to satisfy vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. The best rolls(in my opinion) are the fresh tuna, fresh salmon and avocado, and the prawn, avocado, and wasabi. Soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger are all complimentary which is a huge bonus and the friendly staff are extremely efficient, churning out hundreds of rolls a day. In summer, sushi becomes insanely popular so to avoid queuing for long the best time to go is 12-ish or after 1:30pm.

Probably one of the best sushi places in town. very cheap but a great quality. during lunch time you can find school children and businessmen waiting in a long row in front of the rather small location. there are about five sateen places inside and they have wasabi, soy sauce and ginger to go for free.
