Great Sangria and crowd! The atmosphere was my favorite, very trendy yet you can show up in a bathing suit cover-up. You can people watch and have the beautiful ocean in the background. Location is key.

The bucket list is filling shit. The second it gets packed they think they run shit in Sydney even though they wish they were as popular as other palaces. The bouncers are asshple especially the 40 year old who thinks he knows what’s going on

This place is awesome, I had an absolute blast coming here for a birthday party. There was about 20 people and we were all served in a timely manner. Out food was served fresh and hot, and our drinks were made to our liking. I even met a celebrity which is pretty cool. Overall, this place is a great spot for dining /having a few drinks.

I love this place. I haven’t been able to go out to many places yet in Sydney while I wait for my bank account to get a bit fuller. But after every beach day I have popped into The Bucket List-I just can’t get enough. Great vibe, great atmosphere, cute(fit) barstaff, great crowds, lively, everyone is happy and nice. It can get ridiculously busy but once you’re there, you wouldn’t even care. It’s a great spot that I will definitely visit over and over again. The food is great too!

In the past couple of days I’ve been on holiday here, I’ve met so many great people from Australia and all over the world. Service is fast and the bartenders are great. The hostess is very attentive and sweet. Favorite bar in Bondi beach hands down.

Open seating so you have to be a little aggressive to find a seat outside. Great views of the water and food people watching. The Passionfruit Mojito, although not very strong, was very refreshing and tasty. We also had the special market fish of the day, barramundi, with aioli sauce and coleslaw.

Well a Bondi must do or must be. Fronting the sea with a beautiful view, it s surely the place to be to sip a cocktails or have some snacks. Nice athmosphere and music will go with the hype surrounding place. However the foods fell a bit short of taste and choices. Burgers are dull and will just to the trick if you have it with a nice beer. So yes a nice place, but go for a drinks with the beautiful bondi, but not for the foods which is very average

Really great place to grab a beer or lunch. Seating inside and out — I had a tiger prawn salad it was beautifully cooked and very filling — service very good and bonus views of Bondi Beach!

Went here with work colleagues for a tasty lunch overlooking the beach(note: the location is awesome). It’s been over a year since I visited but I can safely say if I was to come back to Sydney I’d definitely feel like having a large beer here before heading out for a swim :)

Location, location, location — The Bucket List has all of those things. Unfortunately, the social media hand doesn’t seem to communicate with the physical restaurant hand. We came here for Aus Day as I had been wanting to check it out, and that seemed like prime time. In the week leading up to our booking, I saw promises on their Facebook page of Triple J’s Hottest 100 and Drink Specials all day to celebrate. Neither of those things emerged. No drink specials to be seen, and when I asked the barkeep about Triple J, I got a shrug and an «oh, I know nothing about that». That dispassionate response was roughly on par with the feeling I got from the rest of the staff. There was the server who plunked down her utensil tray in the middle of our table to fill up the communal utensil bucket — grabbing the forks and knives by the«business end». And the unsmiling runners pushing through to grab an empty glass. Everyone just seemed completely disinterested. Personal let downs aside, once you factor in the«Bondi tax», the prices are what you’d expect(my crab club was $ 27), and the food was fine — nothing outstanding. They’ve got an eyebrow-raising selection of imported beers, including negro modella for $ 9. Draught beer was roughly $ 8−9/schooner. I can’t say how much exactly as I consumed many a White Rabbit Belgian Pale Ale during my 6 hour stay, and didn’t receive the same change more than twice. For a beachside drinking venue, The Bucket List is perfect, but for me it doesn’t rise to anything beyond that.

Whether you like it or not, you cannot help yourself but come here at least once if you are in Bondi! You’ve got the best spot on the beach. The waves are right ahead as the sun is shining on you and that cocktail is calling your name. Sounds a bit like perfection if you ask me. But ask me to talk a little more… and I say in my experiences that the food and service are alright. You really come for the location. TIP: Share a pitcher with your friends! It is cheaper than buying individual drinks, especially here.

Sunset is the best time to be chilling on the outside area, of the bucket list, watching the sunset and enjoying a corona. And when there is no sunset to watch, there’s plenty of people watching available. The location is the main thing which makes the Bucket List high in my list. The food is good too and the place does get pretty busy, especially on the weekends.

I called and made a booking 7 days in advance for my birthday celebrations. The restaurant rang to confirm on the day of my booking for the ‘Fish Bowl’ section of the restaurant which overlooks the beach. When we turned up for dinner we were told that there was no record of my booking and were sat right near the noisy kitchen, we asked if they could check if there was another table available, we were moved and then moved again. After we were seated at our third table we were ready to order and sat there for 20 mins waiting for our orders to be taken, before someone came up to us and told us we were to order at the bar. The food wasn’t too bad, probably over priced but was tasty. Overall I’m very disappointed with this establishment, we didn’t feel welcomed by staff, the atmosphere was awful and they lost my booking. Great location but I wouldn’t recommend it.

5 star location with mediocre food and service. Still. you are right on the beach so that does forgive a lot. If not for the location though this would lot be worth it. Drinks are good and cocktail pitchers looked yummy. On a sunny day, sitting and drinking with a close up of the waves this would be a great place but on this overcast day my underwhelming prawn po’ boy and limp French fries were a dissapointment.

AMAZING food, great location and superb service! I’m from New York City and came here in mid-June. This place was recommended to me by a consultant for a TV shoot I had to work on and so I booked this location. Everything from the fish and chips, to the tacos to these little croquette balls were to die for. Also, the venue right on the beach does not get any better! This place is a must-visit for great food. The wait staff and owner were all very attentive to our needs. 5 stars well deserved.

This is a fun place to dine in the heart of Bondi. The fish and chips were terrific. My husband tried the vegetarian pasta, which he thought was delicious as well. Great spot for kids, as the staff gave my daughter a bucket of pencils and chalk to draw with.

It’s kind of hard not to hit up The Bucket List, as it’s one of the main spots right in front of the beach! You really can’t miss it, it was the only bar scene that we could see in the vicinity. Had a couple of jugs to share(most economically efficient), everything was delicious. We weren’t really interested in eating, but the fish n’ chips looked tasty. It’s a great spot for people watching, they offer heaters and blankets on the cold/windier afternoons. And free WIFI(Courtesy of Bondi beach) — LOL, for those international visitors, that have no internet: P

It’s all about the pitchers of sangria, the wine barrel outdoor tables and the people watching along the Bondi promenade. All the other star-giving factors seem to fade away as these three things are so excellent, it’s tough to focus on much else. If we’re being picky, the venue is cavernous yet seemingly always crowded with the type of people you’ve been running from since high school and it perhaps leans a wee bit too hard on the casual beach-chic stylings. But refer to the three aforementioned items and try and rate this less than 4-stars. You see, as someone normally on the sweaty side of this argument, even I can admit that there are few things more satisfying than watching smug fitness buffs tirelessly working out, mock-disdainfully judging your plate of greasy fish ‘n’ chips, while trying to hide the bits of drool and jealousy dripping down their chins. Both parties know who has come out on top in this particular situation. So get here and enjoy it.

Been here a few times and its consistently a great spot to hang out and chill on a lazy Sunday afternoon in Bondi. For some reason I’m always here on Sundays. The staff are always friendly, no table service — you go up and order your food and drinks. The crowd is the typical impossibly beautiful, cool Bondi Beach set. The music is always great. Perfect spot to sit on a crate(literally) and people watch with a drink — its right on the pavilion, where that seafood restaurant used to be, was it called Nick’s or something? I like Bucket List and lots and lots!

Don’t listen to that bearded hipster kid with the ball-strangling drainpipes that schleps around the corner of Campbell Parade telling anyone who’ll listen that pop-up bars are done, man, while he strokes his ‘tache and sips on a gluten-free cider. Pop-up bars are still aces, and will be for a while yet.(At least until slinkies make a triumphant comeback sometime in 2013). The Bucket List is drenched in casual cool — milk crates, low-slung couches, bench chairs with cardboard cushions, and prime people-watching position smack bang in the middle of the world’s most famous stretch a’ sand. The wait staff team indie-hipster-fashion-stylings with surprisingly likable attitudes, they’re remarkably down to earth and people I’d actually want to be friends with. I know — amazing, right? Plus, when I was there they were playing Weezer’s «Blue Album» at high volume, which was unutterably, unimaginably RADICAL. It’s like they knew exactly what to do to impress the panties off me. .. once the DJ dropped«Say It Ain’t So» I supplicated myself in front of the wheels of steel and engaged in a bit of wholly justified venue worship. Go there; do it now.
