I work in the Hove area and aside from the Jetty Roads(Glenelg and Brighton) it can be pretty hard to find something fresh and healthy to grab when you’re pressed for time — and who can be bothered with the parking!. Finally, FINALLY I stumbled on Ninja Sushi & Noodle bar when driving down Brighton Road. Aaaaaand SUCCESS! I’m not normally a sushi log person, I find them to be a dry, chewy, tasteless version of their more petite cousins, however Ninja’s sushi logs were moist and tasty and the rice was so fresh! I highly recommend the Prawn Tempura. They will also make you fresh rolls if you like, there is a sign that says so. I also had a home made spring roll which while not overflowing with contents was pretty yummy, the edamame is fresh and not at all slimy and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I was going to hold off until sampling their extensive noodle menu and hand made gyoza before reviewing but since they seem to have no existence on the internet as yet I didn’t want to waste any time. Go visit these folks for some cheap, quick, fresh food if you’re in the area.
