As a foreigner in Schweinfurt, I was overwhelmed with the large number of pharmacies in the town. They are like bakeries, one on every corner. I walked into many of them and gave them equal opportunity to serve me.
Time after time, none of them spoke English that could help me find the medicines I needed in Germany. Thyroid medicines are really difficult and since Germany is so restricted, but this one pharmacist there has good knowledge of American pharmaceuticals.
This Dr. Hoffman, i think his name is, speaks really good English and even studied in the US. He knew exactly how to help me and he always checks the medications I get when I go in there for my allergies. He is amazing! I recommend all English (non-​German) speakers to give Dr. Hoffman’s team a try. All of the people speak some English and can help you. Every problem I have, they know exactly what I need! I will not go anywhere else as long as I am in Germany!
