The 4 you Hostel und Hotel

We showed up late and this hostel is so close to the train station. They had a bar and a few common areas to hang out. Staff was super friendly. You ever sit in a bar with the bartender leading everyone to a sizzling rendition of Adele’s «Hello?»
Breakfast was simple and good. They have quite a bit of space to support everyone in the morning. Restrooms were clean and wifi was pretty good considering how many people were logged on checking into home.
Price was decent considering that all we wanted was a place to sleep and shower since we planned I spending the majority of the day out and about. Next time we make a stop, we’d definitely come back.

The place was fine, nothing fancy. It had a bar with pool table and drink specials, and organized beer garden crawls/​other events that seemed to get big crowds. Good place to meet people.
The room was about average size, mattress about what you’d expect. You get a lockbox and all that good stuff. Common bathrooms worked fine, had hot water that’s all I need. Great location, about 2 minutes walk from the Hauptbanhof Nord station. Within 10 minutes walk from all of the famous beer gardens, and everything else Munich has to offer. Perfect crash pad while traveling, would stay in again if prices are again good.

Von mir auch die Bestnote. War im Oktober dort gewesen und für 2 Übernachtungen im Doppelzimmer für 2 Personen rund 128 Euro bezahlt.
Hervorzuheben war die Sauberkeit und der Zustand der Betten in unserem Zimmer. Die Mitarbeiter waren hilfsbereit, unkompliziert und sehr freundlich.
Hier würde ich immer wieder herkommen.

We stayed on the 3^rd floor and it was so noisy! There were 2 mutiple male rooms and they were more than stupid! Running in the corridor and hitting the doors! They spent their time screaming, listening to music very loudly and closing their door noisily until 4am during those 2 nights i stayed at the hostel. I asked them to be quiet but failed…
But the location is excellent, central and very close to the main train station!
Also the breakfast was basic and ok.

Zentral gelegen und Preis-​/​Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind ein wenig alt und der Gang ähnelt einer Kaserne. Allerdings ist das in einem Hostel meistens so.
Wir konnten dort sehr ruhig schlafen und waren aufgrund der Lage sofort im Stadtzentrum.
Eine klare Empfehlung!

Apparently it was refurbished over 10 years agoand you can tell.
The whole place can be described as OK or alright. There is nothing particually good about it, but nothing amazingly bad either.
An average place to stay, suitable if you can’t find anywhere better.

Äußerst empfehlenswert! So kann man das Hostel in nur zwei Worten zusammenfassen. Hier stimmte wirklich alles:
1) Die Lage. Nur knapp 5 min zu Fuß vom Münchener Hauptbahnhof entfernt.
2) Der Preis. Wir hatten nur ca. 30 Euro/​Person im Doppelzimmer gezahlt. Für München nicht schlecht.
3) Die Ausstattung. Zwar nicht alles vom Neuesten, aber total sauber, gepflegt und ein eigenes Bad mit WC und Wanne im Zimmer.
4) Der Service. Personal an der Rezeption war sehr nett und aufgeschlossen, ebenso das Frühstücksbüffet, das im Preis inbegriffen war — reichhaltig, abwechslungsreich und von allem zu jeder Zeit genug da!

Allein für die wirklich zentrale Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Hauptbahnhof hat das Ho (s)tel die 5 Sterne schon verdienst. Das Publikum ist international, das Personal dementsprechend ebenfalls.
Im Preis inkl. ist das kontinentale Frühstück, über das ich mich nicht beschweren kann. Wenn mal was leer ist wird direkt nachgefüllt und heißer Kaffee ist immer verfügbar.
Zu den Zimmern, bzw. unserem Zimmer: Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad. Man hat gut gesehen, dass das Gebäude bereits vorher ein Hotel war, die Einrichtung stammt noch komplett aus der Zeit. An der Sauberkeit konnte ich jedoch nix aussetzen. Über altersbedingte kleinere Schönheitsfehler im Badezimmer kann man hinwegsehen.
Alles in allem lohnend und eine günstige Alternative, auch für nicht Backpacker im eigentlichen Sinn.
Ich komme gerne wieder hin!
