Tagescafé

Modernes, kleines Café, in dem man frühstücken oder kleine Gerichte essen kann.
Im Sommer kann man draußen sitzen, in den kalten Jahreszeiten drinnen im Fenster (etwas unbequem), an ein paar niedrigen Tischen oder auf Hochstühlen an der Wand.
ich hatte «Ei im Glas mit Lachs» € 5,50, wobei der Lachsanteil wirklich mickrig war.
Dazu einen großen Cappuccino für € 4,80, wobei der nicht auffallend größer war als anderswo.
Der «Apfel-Limette-Minze-Ingwer”-Saft wurde frisch zubereitet und war spitze (und, man ahnt es, mit € 4,50/0,3 l auch kein Schnäppchen).
Ingesamt gesehen war alles gut, aber ca. 20% zu teuer, deshalb auch nur drei Sterne.
Netter Service, ein paar Frauenzeitschriften und der Tag kann kommen.
Für später am Tag gibts eine kleine Karte mit lauter gesunden und sich gut anhörenden Gerichten.

Unkomplizierter lässt es sich keinen Café trinken oder ein sagenhaftes Sandwich essen. Besonders Samstag beim Schlendern durch Schwabing lohnt sich ein Besuch.

Schönes Café, leckeres Essen aber leider ein bisschen zu teuer.

Vorab: Ich mag das Tagescafé wirklich sehr gerne. Leckeres Essen und frische Säfte, viel mehr braucht es gar nicht, um mich zufrieden zu stellen.
Als ich heute nach längerer Zeit wieder zu Besuch war, musste ich aber zu meinem Bedauern feststellen, dass mein geliebtes Tuna-​Sandwich von der akarte verschwunden ist. Ich wich also auf das Pastrami aus, und auch dieses war vorzüglich. Leider wurde ich nicht — wie von früher gewohnt — nach meiner bevorzugten Brotsorte gefragt, sondern vor vollendete Tatsachen gestellt. Der «Wachmacher» kam dafür wie immer charmant im Marmeladenglas und hat gut geschmeckt.
Ein Manko sind auf jeden Fall die Öffnungszeiten — wer am Sonntag gar nicht erst öffnet zielt wohl in erster Linie auf Yuppie-​Mütter in der Elternzeit ab, was schade ist. Ich komme trotzdem (weiterhin) gerne her.

Man sitzt relativ unbequem an kleinen Tischen oder auf der Fensterbank und die Karte ist absolut überschaubar. Für Schwabing definitiv zu wenig für ein gutes Café.

Netter Laden, coole und moderne Einrichtung, gute Smoothies, allerdings nicht ganz billig :(

Ein neuer Stern am Café-​Himmel! Das Tagescafé gefällt mir richtig gut. Die Einrichtung ist hip (viel Kupfer und Holz), die Karte zwar überschaubar, aber dennoch findet man immer was für den Kuchenhunger, Kaffeedurst, Frühstück oder kleinen Snack. Mittags gibt es sogar wechselnde Gerichte, die ich allerdings noch nicht probiert habe. Der Caramel Chocolate Shortcake ist seeeehr mächtig, aber die Sünde absolut wert. Ich würde mir noch ein paar Kaffeekreationen mehr und einen Chai Latte auf der Karte wünschen, ansonsten finde ich die Tee-​, Kuchen– und Frühstückauswahl top! Wir wurden freundlichst bedient und man sitzt gemütlich. Sogar People Watching ist auf der Fensterbank möglich…und da gibt es auf der Hohenzollernstraße so einiges zu sehen!
Der «Heiße Holler» war super lecker und auch den Cappuccino fand ich gut. Preislich sind wir auf Schwabing-​Niveau, einzig und allein einen Kritikpunkt hab ich: der Name. Tagescafé?? Also bitte, wo sind denn da die kreativen Köpfe geblieben?

To be frank, I loved the look of the place more than the place itself. The hubs and I thought that tagescafé Schwabing had just opened, so spiffy did the place look and not quite totally spot on was the grub. I had a gorgeous-​looking croissant served with a solid portion of raspberry preserves. –loved the preserves. The hubs ordered the Deftig, a small platter of toast, meat and cheese. The toast, thick-​cut and toasty on the outside, soft and malleable just under the surface, was served with a hunk of fridge-​cold butter. The result by spreading was a torn mess of bread decorated with clumps of butter. Meh. (The place has actually been open since Nov. 2013, btw.) The brie was OK; the cold cuts flavorful. I enjoyed the carrot-​ginger-​apple juice, but, as a HUGE carrot juice fan, really would have preferred it sans apple as the combo just tastes like a watery carrot-​ginger juice. The juice serving is fairly modest and the price less so. The hubs ordered a cappuccino that was too hot and, sez hubs, the milk wasn’t nicely integrated into the espresso. There was also mention of the capp not having ‘microfoam’. Anyway, if you want a killer bevvie, then go on up the street to Necado before or after a visit here. You will NOT be disappointed.
Upon arriving, we were not sure if one were to order at the counter or at the table. As we sat perusing the menu, a friendly server came to take our order. Easy-​peasy. The place is almost small enough to ask the staff behind the counter for the bill without them having to come over or without one having to leave one’s seat. As we were attempting to pay, the folk behind the counter were busy doing something just beyond eye-​contact range. I got up to ask for the bill and was quoted the price at counter. Wallet fetched and bill paid. Easy. Based on that experience I would think that ordering/​paying at t.S. is fairly chill, so, really, do what you like in terms of that.
One can also sit at the window – sort of on a very wide sill – at quite short-​legged tables resembling almost lil’ foot stools. One faces the table while one’s lower half faces a quarter turn the other direction. –all well and good for somewhat physically flexible folk, but for the hubs, who has back problems, it was not a good spot.
Attracted to the interior, I would like to return and, maybe, try another type of beverage and another nibble and hope for the best!
