The food was pretty good. Not the best overall meal I have had in Munich but the fried apple rings with ice cream were very good!

I am so glad we didn’t consult Unilocal before stopping in here for a bite to eat. Why isn’t this place ranked higher? It’s delicious! Hubby and I were hungry for dinner but not famished, so we ordered 2 beers (of course) and a chicken salad. The chicken salad blew our expectations out of the water. There were at least two chicken breasts worth of meat in the salad. The salad itself had yellow and red pepper, radish, cucumber, and some other veggies I couldn’t identify. There was potato salad under all the greens. The salad dressing was a bright pink color, but it was amazing. They also gave us olive oil and vinegar if we needed it. For dessert, we shared the most amazing crème brulee that has ever been in my mouth. It comes with fantastic vanilla ice cream and berries (I think they are cassis but who knows) and the whole package was incredible.

Wir sind bei unseren gelegentlichen touristischen Besuchen in München immer in einem Hotel in der Nähe vom Hauptbahnhof! Dabei suchen wir dann auch gerne gute Gastronomie in der Umgebung aus! Diesmal haben wir die Münchner Stuben entdeckt und waren nicht enttäuscht!
Einmal haben wir nur Wiener Schnitzel gegessen! Das war sehr gut! Gutes Fleisch und schöné Panade! Ich hatte mit Bratkartoffeln (prima) und meine Frau mit Kartoffelsalat — auch gut! Beim 2x hatten wir nur né Kleinigkeit: Obazda! Und der war fast so gut wie in Andechs! Vor allem aber hatte ich Durst! Und das Bier ist sehr gut hier! Konkret: Paulaner vom Holzfass! Wirklich sehr lecker!
Der Service ist auch sehr freundlich und flott! Die Räumlichkeiten einschließlich Toiletten sind modern und sauber!
Also né tolle Location direkt neben dem Hauptbahnhof! Immer wieder gern und zu empfehlen!

Hat noch viel Luft nach oben. Ein halbwegs freundlicher Kellner (mehr oder weniger allein auf weiter Flur) fragt mich die entscheidenden Minuten zu spät, ob ich schon eine Karte hätte. Hallo, nein, von wem auch? Er bringt sie mir zwar dann schnell, aber: keinerlei Hinweis auf das Mittagsangebot, das es lt. Website gibt (ich war ca. 13.15 da). Neben dem einsamen Kellner (zwar ok., aber hektisch und nicht wirklich bei der Sache) gibt es noch eine Dame, die tw. das Essen bringt und abräumt. Kein Schankkellner und alles nicht so wirklich sortiert. Wie wäre es, statt in einen foodrunner/​Abräumer in einen zweiten, «richtigen» Kellner zu investieren? Das Bier war gut, das Essen o.k., aber (Preisklasse eher mit Intentionen nach oben) nicht so, dass es einen Umweg lohnen würde. Preis-​Leistungs-​Verhältnis passt nicht wirklich. Man merkt den gewollten Anspruch — der dann aber leider nicht wirklich erfüllt wird.

Die Münchner Stuben liegt direkt am Hauptbahnhof und war 13:20 Uhr eher leer. Das schöné rustikale Ambiente lädt zum Verweilen ein.
Bestellt habe ich Kasspatzen und ein Helles (Paulaner). Das Essen kam schnell die Kasspatzen waren lecker und nicht zu fett. Ich hätte mir ein paar Zwiebeln mehr gewünscht.
Insgesamt ein leckeres Essen preislich auf normalem Münchner Niveau.

Grundsätzlich ein modern und gleichzeitig traditionell eingerichtete Location.
Gefällt auf jeden Fall.
Allerdings war der Burger nicht wirklich das, was man erwartet. Tiefkühl-​Patty und somit nicht wirklich frisch. Ebenso gehört ein Burger m.E. nach standartmäßig medium zubereitet, dieser war mehr als durch! Als Beilage gab es einen kleinen Salat (statt was deftigem, passendem).
Für den Preis von 15 EUR enttäuschend.

Attractive space at a busy location. Clean and new, it makes a strong first impression.
Our server pushed us toward the $ 37 euro eat-​as-​though-​this-​is-​your-​final-​meal option. We declined to go that route, just to maximize his tip. Food was mediocre.
We had the misfortune of dining while the loudest dude in Germany was seated across the room. He must love the sound of his big mouth.

This restaurant is convenient and well priced. Atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is accommodating. Not the best Bavarian restaurant in Munich but still recommended.

Das Lokal liegt direkt gegenüber dem Hauptbahnhof in einem Neubau und ist sicherlich ein Magnet für viele Touristen, Ankommende und Fahrende. Angeboten werden neben verschiedenen Bieren die bekannten Klassiker der Bayrischen Küche. Empfehlen kann ich die Frikadellen mit Meerrettich-​Kartoffel-​Mus.
Der Service ist aufmerksam. Die Patina fehlt leider.

Prime location right in front of the central station. Provides spacious and cozy atmosphere with typical German menu. The food and price were okay. My friend and I ordered sausages with sauerkraut and a soup with beef dumpling. Sausages could have been definitely better but the sauerkraut was nice (not too sour like the ones I have tasted before). The soup was good but the beef dumpling itself was a bit too strong (the smell and the taste). Servers were nice.

This place is really new just below the (also new) 4* Hotel ALoft. Interior is great, food is not the best Bavarian food in town but good, all in all very happy that we finally have a traditional Bavarian Restaurant in this part of the town!

We came here two nights in a row. Service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere was fantastic. Fun but not chaotic where most places were crazy for Oktoberfest. Would highly recommended for a casual drink if you want to catch up with friends. Great location close to the city center.

Dietzenbach, Hessen
Schnelle und nette Bedienung, auch während der Wiesn. Ich hatte den «Stubn Burger» der mit seiner besonderen Sauce wirklich lecker geschmeckt hat. Atmosphäre ist à la Wirtshaus aber mit unpassender Musik, die man bei der Geräuschkulisse auch gerne abschalten könnte.
Ansonsten ein Besuch wert, gerade in einer Gruppe!

Friendly staff and good food just across the street from the train station. We ordered the meatballs and goulash which for us had the right amount of salt. Menus were in german and english and the food came out super fast.
