We came looking for a birthday cake… My husband’s favorite cake are Sacher and carrot cake. We were surprised to find both! What luck! In addition, my son and I enjoyed fresh gelato and experienced very friendly service. We will definitely come back!

If you order at the ice cream window rather than from a waiter it’s only € 1 for a cone with a single scoop. Sometimes the café is closed but the ice cream window is open. I got the Kinder pingui again, but in a cone this time. I hate when ice cream places use cheap waffle cones that taste like plastic. Luckily, they don’t do this here. The cone was light and crispy and had a flavor of it’s own. One scoop was the perfect amount for a evening snack.

Looking for a bakery… try every corner in Munich… looking for that bakery that sort of reminds you of what your grandparents grew up with, or what we all see in the movies, mission accomplished. See its really simple: mix together ice cream, bakery delights, great service, neighborhood friends, and (preferably, but unfortunately not always possible in this part of town) great weather and your golden. I might I add… their ice cream is even made on site, Peppermint here we come!
