Fedora Bar + Cucina

Tja, was soll man schreiben? Wieder so eine Italiener halt. Ohne erkennbaren Vorteil vor den andern hundert Italiener in der Stadt. Das Gewölbe im Souterrain ist groß und halbwegs gemütlich. Das Essen OK, aber auch nicht mehr. Das Publikum war an dem Abend. Als wir dort waren sehr touristisch. Der Service war (aufgesetzt) freundlich. Kann machen — muss man aber auch nicht.

Die Location ist cool.
Unsere Bedienung war hochgradig unfreundlich und geneckt davon dass wir ihre Gäste waren (ebenso am Nebentisch).
Die Pizza war gut, die Vorspeisen durchwachsen (verdura gut, Fedora naja). Spaghetti mit Garnelen waren ganz ordentlich. Der Fedora Salat war eine einzige Frechheit. 2 Kirschtomaten, 2 Scheiben Gurke und der Rest Salatblätter. Dazu 2 lieblos frittierte, kleine Stücken Fisch. Für 12 €.

Veggi pizza with radish and truffles was good … Tiramisu was also ok… But too much cream. They should avoid it. Book in advance !!! Waiters were good.

1 Stern Abzug. Das essen war gestern Abend mittelmäßig. Ich habe einen Caesar Salat ohne Hähnchen bestellt, ich habe ein Paar Salatblättern bekommen mit etwa weissem Joghurt als Dressing (und dafür 7 Euro bezahlt). Der Rest war ok aber nicht so gut dass ich bald wiederkommen muss.

The name is a bit deceiving as when you read bar+kitchen, I would think of a nice restaurant type place with a nice atmosphere and, a place to hang out. Well it turns out that, after 10pm this place is a bar+kitchen+crap DJ+too loud to talk+inconsistent expensive cocktails+arrogant waiters+++ ;-))
I went for an after party and there was about 30 – 40 of us and, despite booking ahead of time there was no area reserved for us :-(That was ok as they started clearing tables after we arrived and gave us a narrow corridor to hang out in, which was also the food service corridor, not ideal.
The first whisky sour I had here was quite ok and had a nice kick to it. The second one (assuming a different bar tender made it) was quite sour and, almost felt like it had no whisky. It never goes well with me, when you are expecting one thing and, getting another. The place is lovely and has a nice ambience but the music was so loud in a small area that, it was impossible to speak to anyone.
I may come back and try it during the day or, before the music starts going and, see what the place is like. Not a great start for me but, will give it another try sometime in the future. Maybe, I am getting too old to spend a few hours of my life listening to loud ordinary DJ’s ;-))

We walked by and popped in for a beer. It was late so we had alrady eaten. What met us was way too loud music. I dont think they knew their crowd this evening.
The restaurant/​bar was made out of white walls with som cool drawings. It has great potential, but I dont feel they have done all the can interiour wise.
Cant tell if food is good.

This unique Keller restaurant and lounge is a cool spot in the center of the Altstadt. We stopped in on a Friday evening without a reservation and there was still enough room for five of us to find a seat for dinner.
The menu is limited, but tasty, with a focus on small plates. I had a delicious flank steak (well, flank steak strips) with tasty roasted vegetables. Very tasty, but small portions, so don’t expect the usual huge Bavarian portions.
The environment is subdued and quiet, perfect for a weekend date or quiet evening with friends. If you’re looking for something a bit less bombastic than the usual Brauhauses in the middle of town, watch for the dungeon-​like location of Fedora.

So, I find myself in Munich looking for a cool spot to spend my first friday night and
I come across this spot a bit of a ways from a tourist area.
It had fantastic house music playing which you could hear from outside and so we decided in venture in.
They had a pretty large dining area with a bar in the middle of the place. so, why I like this spot?
1. they have pumpkin carpaccio
2. service was super friendly, and they gave us a list of places to check out while we were visiting
3. hilarious bathroom door art (on the inside)
4. spectacular music
however…they really need a large liquor selection and to learn how to make cocktails!
regardless, I visited this spot 3x during my 10 days in Germany.

Sehr schöné Location für eine Pause am Nachmittag im überfüllten Zentrum.
Itaienische Karte und vielseitige Snacks wie Piadina & Co aus der Vitrine, Tagesfrisch zubereitet.
Der Prosecco ist sehr lecker & optimal gekühlt.
Nettes Personal.

Ist vielleicht nicht gerecht, wenn ich einen Beitrag ausschließlich über den Kaffee dort schreibe und es danach bewerte aber so ist das halt mal. Gehen Sie dorthin. Trinken Sie einen Espresso. Schweigen Sie. Genießen Sie.
Gehen Sie danach nie wieder woanders hin. Alle Münchner Kaffeeröster in Ehren. Aber das ist eine Offenbarung.
(natürlich nur, wenn Sie auf italienischen Kaffee stehen und Neapel bei Ihnen nach was anderem klingt als Vesuv, Müll, Mafia).

Ich war nun zweimal mit unterschiedlichen Gästen dort. Jedesmal ein voller Erfolg. Essen gut, Serivce gut und dei Location ist auch gut gemacht. Weiter so

Der Service ist unterdurchschnittlich schlecht. Wir haben zuerst lange auf die Karte gewartet und dann wollte die Bedienung die Bestellung nicht aufnehmen (die Karte habe ich Ihnen nicht gebracht) Die Getränke sind m.E. zu teuer (weißbier 0,3l für 3,30 Euro, Weißwein mittlerer Qualität 0,1l füt 3,80 Euro; Hugo 6,50 Euro) Der Essen ist zwar nicht zu teuer, aber ansonsten unterdurchschnittlich. Einfach lieblos auf den Teller geworfen, keine Dekoration und von unterdurchschnittlicher Qualität. Obwohl die Bar noch relativ neu ist, sind die Polster bereits völlig zerrissen und man sitzt auf dem schmuddeligen Schaumstoff.

Super Location, eine von meinen Lieblings Bar/​Restaurants in München. Sehr schöné Atmosphäre, nicht zu voll, coole Leute. Es werden oft Tänzer eingeladen, die eine legendäre Show abliefern. Also diesen Laden kann man nur empfehlen. Das Essen ist übrigens auch sehr lecker dort!

Nach Auszug des Daylesford Organic aus dem EG des Zerwirkgewölbes nun eine coole Location mit Lounge-​Musik. Teilweise Übernahme des bisherigen Mobiliars. Räumlich sehr aufgelockert und viel Platz, mittags nicht so gedrängt wie im Due Passi gegenüber.
Pasta-​Gerichte sind der Schwerpunkt zu Mittag, die auch nach 14:30 Uhr serviert werden. Penne mit Salsiccia gut gelungen, preislich aber am oberen Ende des Erträglichen. Tee mit frischen Minzblättern. Es gibt auch Kuchen.
Hohe Frauen-​Quote im Publikum.

Tolle Location und schöné Atmosphäre. Eignet sich zum Feierabendbier genauso wie für einen Abstecher nach einem Shoppingtag oder einfach ein ungezwungenes Essen. Preise sind durch die Innenstadtlage nicht ganz so günstig wie der Italiener um die Ecke, aber im Münchner Durchschnitt. Ich hatte Pasta mit Wildschweinragout von der Tageskartesehr lecker!

Über das essen kann ich leider noch nichts sagen, aber Location, Musik und Stimmung sind Super. Ist einen Besuch Wert wenn man in der City unterwegs ist.

Tolle Location, mitten in der Stadt. Sehr entspanntes Publikum + Personal!

This place must be pretty new, because I can’t find it on Google to rate it. It’s a cute little Italian restaurant in the heart of Munich, where the food, drink, and ambiance are all excellent. The décor is trendy, classy, and homey all at the same time. It’s the kind of place you’d enjoy with your oldest friends or your latest love.
The menu was still pretty sparse, but everything I ordered was perfect. For an apéritif, I ordered a classic (in Munich) Hugo– elderflower syrup, Proseco, mint, and lime, on ice. For a starter: an octopus carpaccio with slivers of asparagus drizzled with fine olive oil. It was very memorable. I remember my pasta dish was delicious and perfectly seasoned, too. But to be honest, my mind was still on the Carpaccio di Polpo.
I would certainly go back. But alas, I’m no longer in Munich.

So far I have only tried the cappuccino and the ice cream but both are top notch (not my favourite coffee brand but let’s not get too fussy). The location in Altstadt cannot be beat (note that the entrance is on Sparkassenstrasse) and the people running it know their stuff. I will definitely go there for lunch or dinner soon.
