An einem Samstag bei sehr kaltem Wetter und knurrendem Magen hier hineingeweht worden.
Das Ambiente wirkt sehr freundlich und hell, das Personal war freundlich und das große Fenster zur Straße geht ein, dass Fastnachtstreiben zu beobachten.
Ich hatte ein Glas Wein, und ohne zu übertreiben, war das eines der besten Weine, die ich bisher getrunken habe. Entsprechend schnell war ich auch beschwipst. :)
Dennoch kann ich sagen, dass die Suppe sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Preislich auch alles völlig in Ordnung.

Nice little wine bar located on Augustinerstraße amongst the restaurants and shops. I’ve been here a few times in the summer and winter just to have a Hugo (or two). In the summer there is outside seating so you can enjoy the rays of sunshine and people watch. Service is very good here and the owner has a variety of knowledge about the wine he sells. Also, I like the fact that he carries the Mainz local craft beers. Which is something I rarely find in wine bars in Mainz.
The best part about this place is that there is a little wine store attached to it with a good (but small) selection of wine.
This is a good place to meet with a few friends and have a wine or two or three.
