You can really tell the difference in service in customer service and health care when it comes to overseas military medical centers. These guys really take of you. They give priority to deployed servicemen and everything was pretty much head of line privileges for those individuals. State of the art facilities… and since it is in Germany, most of the stuff you see in the states also come from Germany, so the stuff here in this medical center are some first rate high quality German made stuff, like the x-ray and MRI machines. Yah, I was bored and noticed where these were made. Decent sized dining facility, with a small food court and a mini-mart. Free transportation to Ramstein, though it is sparse.

This is a great hospital for the military and military families. I spent three years going to this hospital for various things and even delivered my son here. My thanks goes out to the incredible nursing staff at this hospital.

This is a beautiful place! It is a very big hospital and the hospitality is very nice. I had the pleasure of eatting in the chow hall. It was very clean and had a good choice of food. Prices were very good. The USO had a lot of information and a lot of great trips. There is a small exchange store with items to buy and it has a good selection of products.

The hospital and staff are excellent. However, when I had to get surgery, subsequently needing to use crutches, the long corridors were a never-ending nightmare for me. I needed to take several breaks to rest my arms and/or catch my breath. When I first got out of surgery, I went downstairs to the food court area(which is small). But by the time I got there, I dreaded the trek back to the car. It’s almost a labyrinth to navigate through. Overall, the service and staff have been 5-star caliber. But the building’s layout and lack of wheelchairs for use inside really hamper the experience for someone who struggles to get around.
